Indeed. I'm going to take it a step further to say that there are groups out their waiting for someone to "out" themselves so they can pounce on them and destroy them. XJ, there are hostile people out there. We don't need them. If they don't look for us and find us for their own personal journey into this fetish, then they needn't know we exist.

I think two things are being conflated in these occasional discussions about the mainstream. I agree with the skeptics here that "Hey look at my fetish everybody!" is an unwise thing to do, whether in podcast format, and article, or otherwise. What I think people have missed is that there is an ALREADY EXISTING literature, podcast space, etc. where an unending wide variety of kinks, fantasies, paraphilias and so on are discussed and understood in different ways. I really think a lot of people basically just don't realize this due to the bad experiences.

Want to chime in on this a little as well.
The ORIGINAL much loved Annabelles Fantasy .. Was torpedoed.
When someone from outside the community. Got a line on a few of the models working for them.
From another venue ...
They had to stop, and change hands. When that party began trying to blackmail them. Into doing things for them, for free OR giving of finances.
That threat forced Annabelle to get out of the business herself.
Plus several of the ladies had to drop from view for a time.

Joshua--sometime what is real---is, in fact real. And when the majority of the comments on this thread are of the opposite opinion of yours, perhaps you should put some weight into what your peers are telling you. Not doing so over and over again, suggests your comments are for trolling purposes. This community is not a petri dish for your experiments and research. And your actions may stress people out. Perhaps, as a person with empathy, you read what people are telling you and stop. This site is just for fun. Just have fun (but not at others expense).

- What is your main fetish?: Roleplay in person or online in which surprise is an element. Eyes open in someone who ends up dead. An artful telling of how one comes to be dead. Consensual is key. Rape is appalling. Simply killing someone just to kill is sociopathic. The story is everything.

I mostly agree with Blue, et al, that there is no upside on the ‘project’ to gain widespread community acceptance for the world many of us inhabit. Thoughtful people who are interested in community values and norms are aware there is Dominatiion/submission out there, but by and large D/s is left alone as long as it is not preached too widely. This ‘fetish’ will be mostly left alone too. While society ‘seems’ to be more and more tolerant all the time, I don’t think this is actually the case.
For instance, I don’t think the #MeeToo movement has had much of an impact. The frequent school shootings don’t seem to get into significant impact areas. Has #BlackLivesMatter been successful in changing our culture? Or take CRT ….
All ‘Critical Race Theory’ seeks to do, at its root level, is to suggest that US History be taught fully — not just from a White Caucasian perspective. Teach about Native Americans. About Blacks. About Asians. Normalize the lives and struggles of these groups just as American history has normalized the struggles of Italian and Irish immigrants into the USA. And yet, politicians have taken a staid, gotcha approach to CRT and have broadcast wild and baseless propositions about what it is.
Any assumptions the normies will accept snuff.death fetish material into their world as another weird component of some great cultural or societal compromise is probably a very indealistic assumption indeed.
