Is Bloodline Alexa based on the film Sidney Sheldon's Bloodline?

Its basically a manual strangulation in bed similar to the scene in Bloodline. I think I shot it first with Tia and named it later. There was no attempt to copy the Bloodline scene from the movie. We were just trying to get the bounce effect from the bed like we did in Pajama Killer Tia.
