I have completely lost interest in my board, so I'm shutting it down at the end of the month. My decision is final. If there's anything in The Library you want saved, do it now. The domain name will be inaccessible after the 28th. I've already disabled new user registrations.

I know you gave it your best shot, but it looks like the community can only support so many boards, especially when yours and Fetnoir opened at close to the same time.

Good to know that you will be posting here though to keep us advised as to what's new at Cinemasphyxia.

Deadly Dreams and fetnoir.com are Apples and Oranges Blue, and I don't think attributed to the lack of hits on DD either. Nice try...lol Everyone has their opinions....The only reason fetnoir has been a huge impact, and success with outlandish numbers, is because it is run by two females, and is much like FF, where it is open to everyone that is respectful, despite any differences the members might have. When you have two hot ladies that are way into the fetish keeping things fresh, how can you lose? In addition, there is no toleration to what happens on all boards, but fetnoir.com, and that is bullying, and immature name calling BS, and the reason I made fetnoir.com in the first place.. It is a site with TACT.... It is also not completely riddled with my own pics, and pics of my best model to represent, "Death Fetish" as a whole. It's not called Chris' Super Board, or anything...It is 100% unselfish, and dedicated to what this is all about, which has nothing to do with "Me" or vanity. Yes it costs money to host and administer, and yes it has it's moments, but the numbers don't lie, and the numbers are huge!

I am not spiteful, most of the time, but when I feel wronged, left out to dry, I will do whatever it takes to make it better.

I am not a fan of a few producers, and members on fetnoir.com, but I still let them advertise and run a muck. Hype and hearsay rule this community, and cash rules everything around that so.....

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Chris, but I stand by mine. There are only so many hours in a day, which means that there are just so many sites that most members can frequent without burning out. Yes, Kelli and Grace are great drawing cards, but DD would have done much better without an additional site started around the same time. I don't mean to imply that Fetnoir shouldn't have been started. It is a great site... but to say it had nothing to do with DD's demise is, I believe, a little naive.

As for you advertising on FF, we're glad to have you here. Keep up the great work with both your for-profit and not-for-profit projects!

For the record, I do not blame Fetnoir for the lack of interest in DD. My only goal in creating DD was to give people another choice. Fetnoir has done exactly that as well. I could not care less which board people flock to. As long as they have a choice they are happy with, that is all that matters to me. In fact, I feel very much at home at Fetnoir myself, and am most grateful to Chris, Grace X, and Kelli for creating a kick-ass board.

Please do not turn this thread into a flame war. I bear absolutely no ill will toward Fetnoir.

No flame war here, just some differing opinions expressed. I know that you are not the type of person who would bear any ill will towards the lovely ladies of Fetnoir, and never suggested that you did. If that's what Chris thought, he was merely mistaken. FF has supported both of the new sites as have I personally, and I also feel quite at home on Fetnoir. It's not a competition... never has been. It's good for community members to have several choices. The time of trying to put blinders on members is long past, and that is a good thing.

Well Blue, I started fetnoir so that people could have civilized conversations, such as this one, without flame wars. Also, the ability to block certain people from trying to start them over there too. If you have to blow something up to get people to notice you, then you are probably have bigger issues, or are a Pyro tech....haha

No Nyghtfall, we are not arguing, only stating our opinions, and obviously we are not trying to turn it into more. I can totally see where he is coming from when he explained it, as to hours of the day, etc. That makes sense. I guess I wasn't paying attention when we pulled the trigger on fetnoir, or I might have asked Nyghtfall how he felt. He is a great contributor to the community, and is loved at fetnoir.

Just wanted to say ... think a lot of it due to time factor mentioned here. You do have a nice looking board, and unlike some others out there. Seemed to run smooth when roaming it.

I have been active in I think 9 including yours... some I may have heard about but not active. Plus 2 more different fetish element.
So some spend more time at, while others not as much. Just way it is.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. Have seen many times in the past. Where people just start posting.. anyone know what happened to such and such site?
One day there, gone the next.

Also good to see, your still going to be active, just maybe not having the time. To try and run a seperate board yourself at this time.
