Review of Bluestone/UKSG "White Angel"

I watched the Bluestone produced, UKSG movie, "White Angel" today and I have to say, I truly enjoyed it. In fact, I actually watched it from beginning to end without skipping anything. This is a fetish movie hybrid by my definition. It is a good movie with good fetish elements. It is perfect? No. Who among us has not gotten so picky after years of watching produced fetish content that we are looking for everything that distracts us rather then what excites us. I looked at this movie with fresh eyes, not as a producer, but as a fetishist. While it may not be at the level that everyone needs for there "personal" entertainment, I feel it warrants purchase for a number of reasons. First, it had two gorgeous actresses. And, these ladies could act and act well. The lines were very specific to the genre, but delivered perfectly. This was an espionage flick---the clothing and story supported it well. I was drawn it. I was actually rooting for the victim in this case. I never do that. But, I wanted her to live and somehow turn the tables. The story, btw, is great. Not unique, but that is hard to do. It is so good, damn if I don't try it myself. The characters in this movie cannot die. But that does not stop them from killing each other over and over. Not to much---there was not overkill. The pacing, everything was just right. Ok--ok, my editor voice might have grumbled about some of the hitting/punching sounds...but whatever, it was wonderful. The fighting sequences were well choreographed and timed perfectly. Everything came together--the dialogue even blended with the action without odd moments of silence. Whoever then Cullen guy is--he can direct. Ok, lets move on to the meat of the production. After the shootings, neck breaks, back breaks, etc, it is ultimately a strangling. This is where I was worried. I am very picky. I don't like breathy noise and I like the victim to really struggle ferociously. I cannot say that did not happen. But, I also was not disappointed. Not one bit. This is where you have to decide how you want to focus on the strangle and for me, as her chest was glistening with sweat and that nylon was wrapped tight around her neck--I was sold. This was an incredibly sexy strangle, and ultimately, that is what I expect from UKSG. This is a glamorous to no end and every moment succeeded in that. When she was dead--there was no stripping of the body, fondling, groping by the killer. It was not part of the plot and, honestly, I was spend on the strangle--on that girls face, her tongue , the eyes--oh her eyes were so nice. Then, of course, there is the fact that she had an English accent--a big weakness for me. All in all, it was a wonderfully produced video with many fetish elements: Espionage, Powers, Hosiery, Girl Fights, Multiple Deaths, and finally, a very sexy strangle. I wanted to see then naked of course. But, imagining what I could not see is part of the fun. In fact, sine I was not in control of their clothing, like I am in my own videos, it made it all the better. The tease, for me, was half the movie.

JohnM's review prompted me to purchase this movie which I may not have purchased otherwise. since it contains little of what I long to see in terms of my erotic interests in this genre. I've been following some of JohnM's work and enjoy his expert film making style; I couldn't resist purchasing White Angel to actually see what motivated his excellent review.

I wasn't disappointed. As JohnM says above, it definitely warrants purchasing. I really enjoy White Angel for its quality entertainment value and its outstanding artistic value. This is film making at its best! The skilled use of close-ups and extreme close-ups of the actresses are the best I've seen in this genre. I had been craving to see such skilled camera work, directing, acting, editing, and pacing all in one movie in this genre for a long time. This movie satisfies this craving like no other. It is a masterpiece. Wannabe producers, actresses, editors, and camera persons should study this movie carefully and strive to emulate it in their own works.
