I think the expression an actress has on her face in the moments bracketing the instant the "bullet" hits is one of the most interesting parts of a scene.
Is it pain? Surprise? Disbelief? or Something Else?
A short video clip I especially like can be downloaded here.
I agree with that, Jimbo. I believe the French actually call it "petite mort" or little death. I'm just saying that despite almost 60 downloads in the last 24 hours, there isn't much desire to comment on it in this thread.

I find these facial expressions to be very important in selling the shot. They can vary a lot depending on the circumstances, but they are a key element IMHO.
Max, the clip is great! And it certainly sells that one reaction, very believable.
I'm a bit more into the pain aspect of it all, but I for sure can see that shocked reaction as the first stage of the death scene!

Yeah, I can understand that. My preferences change from time to time, especially when the scripts I write shift from theme to theme. Lately I've been trying to achieve the shock/surprise/I-can't-believe-you-did-that type of reaction.
Here's another interesting pair of videos that show the importance of expressions. Both of these individuals are about equally attractive. They are both is the same situation. Which one are you more inclined to watch again?
For anyone into the orgasm fetish and shooting, check out the 2 Assassination Agenda movies with Petra, if you haven't already. It's a really hot twist on the shooting element that I wish was featured again in future White Angel movies (if we ever get the orgasm element prominently featured again).

Max, that's great...! The first one starts out a bit surprised, then those open-mouthed attempts to breathe and gain control were wonderful! I could see them as a reaction to a bullet, for sure. The second one didn't have much punch at all in that regard. Great finds!

Super collection! Yes! That pain is what I love to see! (Although putting that together with Max's first Instagram clip is a delightful scene, I think....)

Nice collection, BigO. Seeing several examples together provides an opportunity to see the way open and closed eyes and mouths change or affect how pain, surprise etc. are communicated.
Tommy- We had about the same observations concerning the two instagram clips. What daredevil girl could watch that and not remember that famous line from "When Harry Met Sally" when the woman tells the waitress, "I'll have what she's having."
