I see many people writing in thinking this may be sick to enjoy this type of site . Statements include how many movies contain death of women and men . Has there been thoughts about earlier human history ? Astecs & romans set up huge arenas to entertain crowds with fights to the death. Totally accepted to view by all . Some people may have been excited sexual or just thought it was fun like sport . Life at in these cultures & times didn't have the same value . Slaves were used often and captured people from war . Movies today and video games contain much death . Has to be a huge market $ of people wanting to see violence . Ever seen the number of people watching real life executions ? I'm not saying it's not cruel. Taking another persons life to satisfy sexual or other fantasy is wrong . What I am thinking is the dark side of humans is real . People are interested in death and ways it happens . Without laws and jail society would see many killings . History channels talk about lusting for power land money causing massive death . What I'm trying to state is you may not be as unnormal as you think. Any thoughts?

Interesting topic. I agree that people are naturally curious about death. Look at the rubberneckers on the highway, hoping to get a glimpse of a dead or bleeding body. We often seem to be fascinated with death as a society. I guess our fetish is different, but not necessarily worse, because of our sexual arousal by female death. This seems to be balanced off however with our love of the female face and form. As far as I can tell from comments here, we really don't want to see women actually die, just in our fantasies... at least that's my personal opinion. I personally love Petra, Suzi and the other beautiful women who act out these fantasies for us. Am I alone in this, or is this a generally held feeling?

When I was a teen and discovered i was into this...I seriously thought there was something wrong with me! Normal folks don't think this way! Was I a latent serial killer in training????

as I got older, I understood different fetishes, knew that i liked reel death scenes and not real suffering and death! I discovered the net and found these sites and discovered that there are far more people who are into this than i could possibly realize!

It is what it is and I am comfortable with my fetish! Although I think many folks don't get it and would find it perverse (But it is ok for a kid to kill 50,000 people and aliens in a computer game! I guess some violent fantasies are more sociably acceptable than others!).

The general mistake that people outside of this fetish make can best be seen when people try to mimic us. There's a fake snuff board by some chicks pretending to be into snuff - they're like "Bloody Gore Girls" or something. When I read the board some chick said something like "I really wanted to see 'actor' get killed in that movie... I hated him."

This is a BIG misunderstanding of the Death Fetish community. We actually want to see a woman in a fake-snuff video because we find her attractive, appealing, a good actress etc; but the general public assumes we want to see her dead because we hate her and women in general. When I read DF messageboards I'll see "Did you see 'actresses''s death scene in 'movie'? Wow, she was hot!" You'll rarely (never?) read "I wish I could see someone kill 'actress' because I really hate her."

As long as you don't act on it - the fetish is fine. I honestly don't think there's a way to fix it anyway.

There was a similar topic on another MB, and a poster referred to La Petite Mort. I found it very interesting, because, as everyone here knows, our death fetish is tied to sexual stimulation, and the French are very experienced in the whole topic of sex. Well, La Petite Mort refers to the exhaustion that results from the sex act, where the woman passes out and, in effect, looks like she has died, thus 'the little death' reference. It therefore is very normal to enjoy a woman writhing, panting, squealing... as if engaged in the sex act... then watch as she passes out, as if dying, once her orgasm is spent. In my productions, the panning of the beautiful body after the 'death' is akin to admiring a beautiful, vulnerable woman sprawled out helplessly before an appreciative male viewer after a wild spasm of activity. Just thought I'd share a little bit of a different angle on this subject with you... an angle that is based upon quite a 'normal' and universal stimulant... the sex act itself!
