Guess I am like most here in that bad acting and smiling when you are supposed to be dying ruin a video real quick. Tattoos I personally dont have a problem with,no matter how many.

One camera technique which irritates me and others is the PsychoThriller 90 dregree rotation in vertical plane. That rotation makes sense in an overhead view. No one has ever justified laying a camera on its side (as do still photogs) to make a scene. Anyone willing to comment??

I don't recall much if any of that camera technique in our fetish videos, but I see it quite often in other videos and it drives me nuts. Turning the camera sideways or at an angle, or even worse, the constant movement of the camera along with the angles and zooming in. I want to see things as I would see them in real life.

What is your main fetish?: It's a combination of secret agents, superheroines, celebs, and pregnant women being killed. Although i don't necessarily have to talk about the last one on the boards if it's too sensitive of an issue.

I wouldn't say a lack of plot is a problem we're seeing. I'd say it's a sameness of plot. And a sameness of kills. Which gets me onto my rant about the commodification of art. When art is reduced to just another item to be bought and sold, it stifles creativity. Instead of worrying about the whole idea of expression, it all becomes about putting out the same thing to the same people. I would hope this community is receptive enough that if producers started focusing on expanded stories and coming up with new styles of death scenes, we'd all be willing to accept that. I'd hope we're not the same as the sheeple that eat every plotless blockbuster Hollywood throws at them because, "Oooh, pretty explosions!"

For me, the too-common element is a lack of variety in body positions. I prefer facedown bodies with a view of the backside, but it's an unusual element in most videos. If I want to see that, I usually have to ask for it and pay for a custom.
Surely a little variety in body positioning wouldn't hinder sales. It seems as though a number of producers make videos based on their own preferences for body positions (face-up), and relegate everything else to the realm of customs.

Besides those already listed, tattoos, pornography, can't act, and too fat, I have some more dislikes. A woman is shot and there is no blood or wounds. Lesbians carrying on. The actresses are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Black or Hispanic. The story is much too long and the killings are much too short. The women wear dungarees, shorts, sneakers, or anything that looks like men's clothing. An actress is shot and one second later, the camera is on the shooter. The woman wears glasses. The actresses are killed and their eyes are wide open. The actress is upside down when being shot or having been shot, and her head is in the bottom of the picture and her feet are in the top of the screen. You can hear in the video the director telling the actress what to do next. The gun is pointed at her stomach and the bullet wound appears in her chest. An actress is shot and the first thing she does is get her hair away from her face. The woman says things like you bastard, how could you shoot me, why did you shoot me, you don't want to put holes in these boobs do you, don't shoot me and I'll do anything you want, don't shoot me I love you, you shot me in the heart, and it hurts so much I could die.

Aside from the bad acting, of which there's plenty, it seems like most people's complaints are about things they themselves don't care for, not actual problems from producers. "I only like anorexics, so stop doing films with girls that actually look healthy!" "Tats are ugly!" "I don't like to be reminded of the fact that I'm getting off on a girl pretending to be killed, so stop with the ligature marks, drool, and tonue-out death stares." I'm not saying not to post these complaints, but...ask yourselves, are you confusing likes and dislikes with problems in production technique, plot, and acting? Because to me there's a big difference.

Well, Mikedark, the theme of this thread is personal likes and dislikes as found in various productions. Issues for producers to address, yes. The list that has slowly compiled is that any compilation will satisfy a few while deflecting the many. Why? Because only so much can be done in a video skit.

As an exception, ARTHUR's SHOOTING SCENES contain as many elements (if not all) that a customer required. In the course of doing 25 scenes, we may have covered many other expectations. My point is we did 25 scenes...

I am the Arthur referred to previously by Pennpaul. Debbie D and Pennpaul did "Arthur's Shooting Scenes" for me and it was terrific. I gave them a list of what I liked and a list of what I did not like. They followed my wishes completely and did 25 scenes for me. I was thoroughly satisfied and I continue to thank them for what they did for me. A custom is a wonderful thing because then you can have it done your way. It was all done in a very professional way and yet it was done in a very user-friendly way. I enjoyed it immensly and I had the time of my life. Thank you Debbie D and thank you Pennpaul.

I can't resist. I have some more dislikes. Shots to the head, arms, legs, and feet. Actresses who wind up dead in a position that defies the law of gravity. Actresses that look like teenagers. Women who lie on the ground in a very comfortable position, not sprawled. Actresses who have been killed and wind up on the ground on a rug, sheet, pillow, or other things that are there so that they don't get hurt, when they fall. Actresses wearing thongs which make them look terrible, and fat in the wrong places. The actor fires a big gun and then there is very litle blood and a very tiny bullet hole. Women who have very short hair so that it looks like a man's hair. Bullet wounds and bleeding that looks like an X on every wound. Too many nipple and belly button shots. Swearing, verbal abuse, and physical abuse by the killer. Actresses with rings on their nipples or on their vaginas. Women killing women. Silencers or guns that are very soft. An actress is shot ten times and lives, and another actress is shot once in the shoulder and dies quickly. Blood that is brown, black, purple, or orange. Arrows that are so thin, they would break if shot by a bow. Arrows that look like darts. Actresses that are hanged and wind up with their tongues sticking out of their mouths. Actresses with too much make-up on. BLondes that look terrible but would be beautiful brunettes, it they did not dye their hair. I better quit writing so much. Time to rest.

I realized after the fact that Blue's original post did ask for personal dislikes. I made my comments before looking at the original post, and just assumed Blue was asking what technical aspects do we think producers need to focus on...which is really what I'd rather be talking about because I feel that listing all of my likes and dislikes is dictating to producers what they can make.

As for dislikes, I actually find the lack of variety in actresses a problem. I'm not saying Caucasian girls are bad of course, but I'm sorta the opposite from Arthur. I'd rather see more races presented. In fact, Arabic, Indian, and Japanese women especially make me hot. And as for Caucasian girls...where's the redheads? I want some Kellis in my stuff from time to time!

I think we're all agreed that the acting could be better. Most of my favorites have left the industry, and sadly there's only a few that have moved in to take their place. And it's not that the girls aren't trying. I think we've seen improved effort actually, but the results aren't there yet. Of the current crop, Starli, Coco, Candee, and Belle are my favorites. They seem to be naturals at this.

It's not about seeing another man's "splooge". It's about imagining that you are that man, and the splooge is your's.

Lots of good "likes" - "dislikes" have been brought forth.

Question: Do any of you have specific examples of the "bad" you cite as well as the "good" you buy. ??

I don't think I mentioned my likes yet...and my dislikes are hard to make examples of because I don't want it to seem like a hate white women, because I don't!

As for bad acting vs. good acting...as much as I love her, Goldie is a pretty good example of that, although it's arguable that that's the charms of her vids. They're sooo cheesy that they're pretty cool.
