Conspiracy to Disrupt FF!

I have been watching Pennpaul and two other members very carefully in light of information that I had obtained regarding a conspiracy to disrupt this board. Pennpaul and Jafa have brought false charges against me personally on this board. Geno and DeadSkirts have taken the position that when the owner of DS is attacked, it is an attack on DS itself. Well, I don't agree with that statement, but it certainly is distressing that false allegations against me have been made in conjunction with intimations that this board is not being run properly. This has nothing to do at all with free speech. This has to do with certain ungovernable members who appear to be here only to make false allegations and stir up controversy as a direct result of these false allegations. In my opinion, this is disrupting this board and creating another battle that many members do not want to be subjected to. I own this board, but this is a democracy. I have the power to suspend or ban anyone any time, but I have never used that power without very good reason. So, if you think I am overreacting, simply vote against the suspension... I know three members in particular who will be voting against the suspension of the members in question, and they are the members themselves.

The choice is simple. Let me know the feeling of the general membership, and I will act accordingly.

I can't say there is a clear conspiracy to disrupt FF based only on what I've read on the forum (behind the scenes, I have no comment).

I don't like the idea of banning people unless the disruptiveness they display is a danger to other members or so egregious that no other alternative is suitable. I don't think Pennpaul or JAFA are at that point (publicly). I'm for a bit more patience, as each clearly has a something to offer the community even if their fantasy elements differ from mine or anyone else's.

Although the mentioned members do have something to contribute with us, history has shown they have contributed none to us but only willingness to flame and incite arguments.

In my experience with boards (both as moderator and as a contributor) when someone is always ready to read between the lines, twist things and be picky with any word used by their target, then it is time to consider him as a troll.
By banning this users we will give them the option to go and voice proudly: "hey, we were right. The guys at fighting fellas are all rat-packs, etc" but who cares? at least we`ll get our peace back and just focus on what Femme Fatalities used to be.

I am always opposed to banning or suspensions unless the forum member is guilty of some really objectionable behavior.

Whether or not someone is acting out has nothing to do with whether or not they should be suspended.

Often times when the rest of the community sees the comments of the offending poster the reputation of that person takes enough of a beating that he or she discontinues the line of disruptive posts voluntarily.

I had joked before about this line of conversation being "unsexy" but I must make a more serious comment here.

What are we talking about instead?

Board politics, banning, rules...does anyone notice how boring that all is compared to far more sexy things I listed above?

Blue himself just recently posted a set of sexy women in uniforms.

Not my thing, but very sexy nevertheless.

Blue, I request more of that kind of thing and less of this kind of thing if it is at all possible!!

All the producers would benefit from a shift of focus upon politics to that of erotic horror and action.

To others getting worked up I suggest that you are not doing Debbie any favors by taking attention away from that sexy white outfit. IT is possible to "over defend" an actress. It seems to me that this could be one of those occasions.

I agree completely with Paul. It seems that each time a thread is taken away from the fetish it's due to the machinations of Pennpaul (aka 4P or more appropriately 4F). If some people are consiudered 'cyber-bullies' I submit that 4F is a 'cyber-terrorist'.

Hi Everyone,

Some very interesting posts. Keep them coming... opinions both for and against.

I agree that I cannot speak for Debbie D. She can speak for herself. The issue is not Debbie D and never has been. If I had really insulted her and she was offended and we couldn't settle our differences, does anyone really think that she'd be shooting with me in a little over 2 weeks? She hasn't cancelled our shoot, I've 'talked' with her by email today, there appears to be no issue between us!

Now, in case some people are not aware of this, it is my understanding that Pennpaul, Matrix and Jafa are all involved with the same production company, and one of their main actresses is Debbie D. That is why they are supporting each other and sniping at, and trying to tear down, other producer members. They tried it with Paul of KHP and they've now tried it with me. So, would the members here thank me if I let them continue to attack the other producers here, and drove them from this forum? Listen, if they will attack the owner and head administrator of this board, and get away with it, then they obviously would have the audacity to attack some of the other fine producers here... their competitors. That is not the type of attitude that we want to foster here... pitting one producer against another. This is a forum that is open to many producers, but they have to leave any competitive attitudes at the door (for those who have them).

Now, back to our regularly scheduled debate

I may not know everything that is going on here, but i do know that the owner of the forum has the right to maintain order and peace. if the parties in mention here cannot follow simple rules then they dont have to stay.
There is a difference between free speech and being a dick!
people who are dicks dont have the right to stand behind free speech and use it as a shield to excuse their actions.
Having said that I cannot say for sure one way or another if the offending parties are being dicks.
I would ask them to stop attacking the owners of this forum or just move away.

However:


The fact remains that some people here, not the attackers, are also willing to move away from this board in order to NOT have to see the incredibly droll yet seemingly endless distractions.

Beyond polls and even beyond threads, there are those who will refrain not only from the fray but: also from the social intercourse of any given thread. Once you have people emailing and im'ing and chatting on the telephone about who said what and why this one is on that one's side...that's when people get bored and/or disgusted and start leaving, sometimes in droves. These things start as a tiny flare up and develop into torrential storms of displeasure. I've seen this so many many times in the course of my 16 years on IRC and various boards.

I, for one, would like to (finally) find a place where I feel I can belong. I would like to become a kind of "regular" in one place, instead of always moving around and never getting close because of ill mannered people that just can't stop stirring the pot.


I've seen one person here that said (to the effect) that voting is easiest to do by walking away. I don't want to see anyone have to go to that extreme but: I know from hard experience, that it not only will, it DOES happen.

I take a pragmatic view of conflict:

1) It brings posters together to fight against a perceived adversary or adversaries and accordingly creating a kinship with either the majority or minority poster's view, in this case: John Matrix and PennPaul twirled the board with controversy. Who really can say this was a bad thing? I personally don't see Jafa as an agitator but trying to moderate the negative posts with his amusing posts.
2) This controversy draws traffic to the FF forum, a very good thing.
3) This increased traffic results in a significant increase in more memberships for CnB and my associated sites. I am sure it helps the rest of the producers and sites as well.

Putting the increased sales aside, it does result in the bonding of posters both pro and con and stimulates the Forum with a variety of thoughts, ideas, and different points of view, as well as, perceived motives for such posts - good or bad - who really cares in the end, we all benefit.

We can ban or suspend them but we do this forum more harm than good, IMHO.

I hear you all, and I thank you for your comments, and you can continue to comment even after this message is posted.

I, of course, am torn, because I do fervently believe in free speech, but I also hear what a lot of you are saying about wanting a place that you can call home, that encourages discussion, but not conflicts and drama, and that is a fun place to hang out. That has always been my vision for FF. Yes, traffic increases when conflicts like this occur, but often it's like the traffic jams when people are rubber-necking to see if they can see some blood and guts at an accident scene along the highway. Does this type of traffic really result in increased sales for our producers? I doubt that.

Now, I know on other boards rabble-rousers are merely banned without any discussion or controversy. I also know that some people feel that the poll that I put up looks like some kind of public hanging. The reason that I have gone this route is that suspensions and bannings are not a common event on this board. I don't issue vacations as a matter of course. I do allow people to voice their opinions on this board without fear of being muzzled. It is only in rare and extreme cases that suspensions and bans are even talked about here. In a year and a half of operating with over 1,500 members only two people have been banned from this site, and only one person was suspended for a few hours. This is not a common occurrence, and is not to be made lightly. If I decided that a person should be suspended for disrupting this board and the membership overwhelmingly voted against that decision, I would follow the majority opinion, because if you don't mind the disruption, it certainly won't bother this thick-skinned old webmaster

Tonight, I have terminated the advertising account of the production company represented by John Matrix, Pennpaul and Jafa. Since both Pennpaul and Jafa have refused my requirement for an apology, and taking into account the poll results, there is no further need to drag this matter out and wait another 15 hours. I have therefore suspended Pennpaul, John Matrix and jafa effective immediately.

They are no longer invited to the parties that we'll be holding here, and the erotic death fetish discussions that we shall have, because they just never got it! Well, I guess I was a slow learner too, but I finally got it! The three of them never came here to be part of this community, but only to stir the pot then go elsewhere and complain about the "Fightin' Fellas". Well, we ain't the Fightin' Fellas y'all, we are the Friendly Folk (which includes the lovely ladies here) of the Femme Fatalities message board, and we're here to have fun with one another, not to make war.

I will leave this thread open for closing thoughts, then lock it tomorrow.
