Hello, everyone. Sorry for the posting delay. I’ve been busy learning how to use the new version of DAZ Studio. Here are updates for the weeks ending June 20 and 27:

Now that the move to WordPress is complete, and everything is running smooth, I’m discontinuing the weekly updates, as I can no longer guarantee regular access to new content. Going forward, I’ll post updates as I acquire material and find time to edit it.

For those of you interested in my 3D art, here are samples of my recent work:

Snared Secretary – This was a project I rendered using Poser Pro 2014’s Firefly engine, as a brief departure from my interest in photorealism. The story is that a Hitman was contracted to take out a Secretary when she threatened to expose her company for cooking their books. She returns home from a long day at work, and as she starts climbing the stairwell to her 4th-floor apartment, the Hitman lassos her with a steel cable from the 2nd-floor landing and hangs her.

You want ME? To go out with YOU? – My first Iray render using a human figure – in this case, DAZ 3D’s new Victoria 7. The Warrior Queen couldn't believe the Court Jester had the audacity to ask her out.

God Rays – A lighting experiment using Iray. It’s also my new desktop wallpaper.

Baby Steps – I’m currently studying how material shaders work so I can create my own. This is every Iray shader preset that comes with DAZ Studio 4.8. I’m especially proud of the unexpected resource it’s become for other artists. They’re using my art as a reference tool!
