Today, I was on my way to a store and was passing a nearby playground. I happen to notice some children playing there in the light rain. Suddenly, a young girl of no more than eleven or twelve, looked at me and wished me a happy holiday.I replied,"same to you," but I was taken back by this girl's spirit and sincereness. The situation reminded me that Christmas is more than just giving gifts and Christ's birthday, it is the spirit and joy of life itself, and no better expressed than from the lips of this little girl- unsolicited.
