at first I felt guilty. Creating certain characters for my stories. Enjoying certain horror movie scenes because it had a sexy vic. Like the nurses in halloween 2(1981 version). Its fiction. Its fantasy. In that fantasy bubble is our fetishes. Somehow it all got molded together in my imagination part of my mind. I can enjoy writing my stories more.

Not particularly. And most people when there young feel a little guilty about regular sexual urges. Takes a while to get that whole thing sorted out in your head.

I haven't felt guilty about my fetish since I was 13. Still, I felt like some kind of rare freak of nature until I discover the death fetish community. Now I feel like those who don't have the fetish are abnormal.

Hi,
Well I never felt guilty... but I always did and still (do) feel this fetish I have is not accepted in the main stream.
Which of course makes me feel better to keep it to myself.
Having said that... I also believe it is a "HARMLESS" fetish and like you do Blue...
The site of seeing "real" blood on the T.V. news or news papers also makes me feel very squeamish.

Interesting... I don't think I ever felt guilty, but I certainly felt that my reactions to femme fatale scenes were not something that I could share with anyone, so essentially I hid them away, from everyone. It made me feel sneaky, basically. And sneak I did, to movies or magazine stands, or whatever. Then the internet arrived, and suddenly none of us were alone anymore!

It amazed me when my wife figured out that I had this fetish and came to accept it, if not fully understand it. Actually, it was a blessing when she did, because she actually thought my "emotions" were inherently dangerous, even to her. From her viewpoint, I had "murderous" feelings, which seemed to be a supressed rage or something, she thought. It made no sense, but it was scary. When we finally were forced to bring it out into the open and talk about it, it was a relief to her. Now she knows that I escape into my "cave" with this from time to time, and she just goes and does something that is fun for her, get some pretzels and watch Downton Abbey or something...

As a teenager (when my death fetish eroticism first took intense hold of me) and as a young woman, I struggled a lot with guilt. But I no longer have guilty feelings at all, and in fact embrace this aspect of my sexuality with enthusiasm and delight.
