Cinemasphyxia.com - December Updates

Post by Nyghtfall »

And we're in the home stretch for 2013. Now that Crimson Rush is shut down, and my 3D art hobby is on hold again, I can continue the ongoing task of improving Cinemasphyxia without feeling like I'm stretching myself thin. I can also focus more on my writing.

New this week is a clip from the following:

Strangling: The Maze

The following titles have been upgraded to 720 x 480 WMV:

Drowning: Fatal Attraction
Suffocation: The Neighbor
Cinemadeath- Spotlighting Death Scenes in Film & TV
Fantasy Death - Your Death Fetish Yellow Pages
Visions of Darkness - Original Dark Art
Nyghtfall3D - My NSFW Gallery

I can't remember the last time I received a clip donation via postal delivery. As bandwidth has become more commoditized, and content more web-based, most people donate clips via e-mail now, so I've removed my mailing address from the Request Log, FAQ, and Feedback pages.

New this week is a clip from the following:

Drowning: The Grudge 3
Cinemadeath- Spotlighting Death Scenes in Film & TV
Fantasy Death - Your Death Fetish Yellow Pages
Visions of Darkness - Original Dark Art
Nyghtfall3D - My NSFW Gallery

Wow. What a year.

This week marks an important turning point for me as I prepare for 2014. Last year, I took stock of my life, and decided I don't want to work at a call center for the rest of my life. I want to start pursuing my life-long dream of becoming a full-time writer. Part of fulfilling that dream included developing a routine that involves writing at least a thousand words per day. This year has taught me how difficult that is, and I've barely written anything. Suffice it to say, I am very disappointed with myself.

Now, for the first time in my life, I want to be a writer bad enough that I'm going to fucking do it. I don't want to find myself looking back another 20 years from now, wondering, "What if?" To that end, I recently bought a copy of the Home & Student Edition of WordPerfect X6, and am seven pages into the first draft of the first short story I've written since I was 21.

There's just one problem. I'm going to need to focus as much of my attention on writing as possible, and can no longer concern myself with trying to maintain weekly clip updates. As such, starting January 4, updates will only be posted on the first weekend of every month.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

With that in mind, new for December 14, 21, and the final update of 2013, are clips from the following:

Drowning: Bates Motel S1E9: "Underwater"
Drowning: Covert Affairs S4E7: "Crackity Jones"
Drowning: Medium S5E11: "The Devil Inside"
Cinemadeath- Spotlighting Death Scenes in Film & TV
Fantasy Death - Your Death Fetish Yellow Pages
Visions of Darkness - Original Dark Art

THanx for the update, Nyghtfall. Good luck with the writing, I know from personal experience how difficult it is to break into this area.
Have a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2014
