...It appears that I can only advertise Genre Videos on DeadSkirts by kicking ChrisB off of the site and maybe JohnM, if Geno doesn't like the content that he puts up there. Well, that's censorship... plain and simple, and I will not stand for it. Geno is making Genre Videos sound like a XXX Porn site on DeadSkirts, which is nowhere close to the truth... ChrisB and all of the other Genre Videos producers will continue to be allowed the creative freedom to offer their wares on Genre Videos for the enjoyment of those in our community who enjoy them. Since only 2 of 17 producers on Genre Videos have XXX porn in their productions, what you read in Geno's rants is... untrue!

...Bluestone Silk Videos will no longer be advertising its products on DeadSkirts, and Bluestone is officially resigning from DeadSkirts. If you want to know about the latest Bluestone releases, you'll simply have to check out the Producer's Forum on FF or Genre Videos itself. I'm also easily contacted through email or FF pm, if you wish information on my productions...

Sorry to read this as you follow tPAP into DS oblivion. Perhaps your excitement at number of producers obscured your clear vision of the value offered by Genrevideos. Meanwhile Geno appears to be manifesting advance alzheimers as he confuses issues and reason for vacations with an inability to reconcile same.

Gosh no one left to buffer Geno from personal attacks except "vacations" on Fire Island.

Well, it looks like my resignation from DeadSkirts and withdrawal of my ads from there had the desired effect. Geno has demonstrated to me that he can indeed admit when he is wrong, and he admitted to me that he was wrong in deleting my Genre Videos ad that referred only to my own Bluestone Videos. This was the second ad that I posted at DeadSkirts when the first one was deleted as referring to a producer who is considered a banned and prohibited XXX Porn producer on DeadSkirts. So, I hereby retract my DeadSkirts' resignation and will resume advertising there.

The status of Genre Videos advertising on DeadSkirts has finally been clarified. All producers who are allowed to advertise on DeadSkirts and have a Genre Videos store are permitted to post links to http://www.genrevideos.com as long as they only refer to their own store there and not to that of other producers. This is acceptable to me, so I encourage all Genre Videos producers who have advertising rights on DeadSkirts to continue to support that site with their ads.

As long as Geno continues to be fair in his dealings with me and Genre Videos, I have no reason to malign his site and have therefore deleted all such remarks from my initial post above.

What are you saying? I know you love to be vague, but you seem to be equating my decision to leave DeadSkirts (which decision has since been reversed) to throwing in the towel on Genre Videos. Talk about a leap of logic. Genre Videos will survive and thrive, and would have done so with or without DS advertising. As for TPAP, it failed for many reasons which do not need to be detailed here. None of those reasons apply to Genre Videos. Genre Videos has won its first advertising skirmish... and it will continue to grow and prosper, because it offers the best producers in the market and the best prices and is customer friendly in its interface and operation. So, in short, the reports of its death have been greatly exaggerated.

Nothing I wrote impuned GenreVideo nor did I make any statement that could have been a eulogy when GenreVideo is vibrant and more alive as producers join the stable.

Perhaps you will rethink your version??

Well, instead of following the TPAP experience, Genre Videos will be the video mall that can and will be referred to on DeadSkirts. Every one of my ads there will include an encouragement for DS fans to join and enjoy what I consider to be our community's best video mall! Not the biggest, but the best!
