A discussion with a friend has brought up a barely remembered snuff comic based on "John Carter of Mars" which started with a bunch of naked Martian girls being thrown into an arena to fight the local fauna to the death. The style was exaggerated/ugly but interesting.
I've seen it online 3-4 years ago, but can't track it down at the moment. Anyone got a clue?
