Here are my comments on each of the options available. I've highlighted the ones I voted for.

1. Not into shootings.

2. Not into stabbings.

3. It's a given that a producer will shoot the occasional asphyxiation scene.

4. Nudity is so passe. Unless she's preparing for a shower or soaking in the tub, I don't need it. In fact, most of my favorite mainstream scenes don't feature any nudity at all.

5. I don't need porn.

6. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and as such entirely subjective.

7. The killer definitely needs to be male. Always. And it's a huge plus if he's a serial killer or hitman.

8. I loathe f/f scenes.

9. For some reason, bad girls are a prominent theme for a lot of fetishists. I don't get it.

10. The victims in my own fantasies are always innocent women who simply found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.

11. Sexy costuming is usually code for those really cheesy spandex or PVC Nurse or Cop outfits you find at Halloween stores and adult costume shops. I hate those. And while I do enjoy the occasional use of a mini-skirt and heels, I generally prefer something a little more down-to-earth that doesn't make the model look like she came from a street corner in Vegas. For example, I recently picked up this clothing set and texture pack for Poser. If you do want to go upscale, give me a little black dress or a formal evening gown any day. 18. Depending on the scenario - a bondage theme maybe - fondling prior to death would be ok, but I generally prefer surprise attacks in which the killer is focused squarely on the task of killing his victim.

19. If the killer is going to fondle his victim, I would definitely prefer it be after death. Again, it depends on the scenario.

20. A solid story line is certainly helpful, but I only need a minute or two of setup before the attack.

21. Most models who shoot this stuff have zero acting experience, so professional acting is not a requirement. If they can take direction well enough to pull off a convincing performance, so much the better.

22. Music can make or break a scene. Be careful when deciding to use it.

23. This is absolutely one of the most important aspects of any video I buy. If you don't have the resources to make a top-notch video, or don't care about the final product, then don't even bother.

I so agree with Lady Ash that my wish is to have HER asphyxiated with a beatiful death stare. How soon might I expect to see that film Blue? I'll guarantee you it would be a big seller.

I do agree with Lady Ash that I had to think really hard to pick just 3 choices. Of course you all know I prefer a shooting but my imagination has widened a lot through the years. Then it came down to choosing production values as a priority because no matter what type of death or how beautiful the actress or blood or no blood if the quality is poor you can't enjoy it and I wouldn't buy it. Actually, I have bought poor quality films and never purchased again from that producer when I know which ones put out a quality product.

You also didn't list "slow death" versus "quick death" and a slow death scene is always what I desire. It will be interesting to see if a trend develops as more people vote.

I only gave you 3 choices out of 25, because I wanted you to think about all aspects. There are many, many aspects of a death fetish film, but sometimes a few make or break it. So, I didn't want to hear about the nice elements. I wanted to hear about the essential ones.

My comments are about all/any producer, and not directed any anybody....

This is quite a valid topic. So often I find that something potentially quite good/exciting is ruined because of poor production values, an unconvincing actress 9even if she's quite beautiful), a really fakey death scene and struggle etc
So, for me, sorry but it must be to make it as convincing and as realistic as possible. (Which is one of the reasons why I enjoy UKSG so much, even though I'm not actually a stranglign fetishest)

TF, thank you, I am flattered that anyone would want to watch me get asphyxiated but any videos made in which I get strangled will be private and not for sale, however rich they might make me and Blue. lol. I realize that it is the community's loss but that is the way it is. One could describe the fetish as "a woman dies violently", but what people want or need beyond that in their video seems to be as different as fingerprints.

The first two choices were easy..."An Asphyxiation" and "A Beautiful Actress". Those would be "needs", the rest are all "wants", so deciding on a third one was much harder. I went with "Sexy Costuming" because, as Blue well knows (now), I have a major fetish for certain types of female footwear. It's probably stronger than the death fetish.

Here's my Nyghtfallish rundown on the rest of the choices.

--I wouldn't buy a shooting or a stabbing, no matter what body part was pierced.

--I prefer fetish clothing (tight and shiny) to nudity.

--No porn. I don't want to see the killer's junk.

--I much prefer a male killer to represent me. If it's a female killer that I don't find attractive (maybe because of how she's dressed), that can work. For example, "Joceline Angel's Last Stand". I don't want a battle to the death between two hot babes. Go figure!

--I prefer a bad girl, like a blackmailer, or at least a naughty one, like P J Soles in "Halloween". If the victim has been established as a good person, like Diane Kruger in "Inglourious Basterds", I can't "use" the scene.

--Historical Setting? Well, I'd like to see a time traveller go back to the '80s and strangle the Solid Gold Dancers! There is a movie where Jack the Ripper time travels to the late '70s.

--Multiple victims is a luxury. I'd be satisfied with just my favorite Solid Gold Dancer in the historical video!

--A bloody wire garrotting wouldn't work for me.

--A death stare is preferred, but not crucial.

--Post mortem fondling is good, but far down on the "wants" list. A greater want is for the killer to caress the victims neck before he starts to squeeze. That's because I also have a neck fetish. I saw some scenes with that detail during my "wonder years". So, if that detail is a DNA factory setting and not an imprint, that's an amazing coincidence!

--Music can be cool, like in "Halloween", but isn't needed.

--No storyline at all can work, like when Petra is strangled from the backseat of her car.

--UKSG-level acting and production values are not nearly as important to me as they are to their biggest fans. Other factors mentioned above are more important. As Blue also knows, I do like full body shots, so I can enjoy the footwear and the strangling at the same time. I guess that's a production value. Certainly the picture quality has to be at least respectable.

Sure, I voted. But I believe in secret ballot, see...and I did not choose 'belly' nor 'shooting' among my 3! But I did choose among my 3 secret choices 'professional acting', 'not too much blood', and 'bad girl'.

As a woman, the 'beauty' of the actress is not important to me because all women are sensual and sexual; I want to see her emote the scene well so I can feel and see and internalize the eroticism more intensely, as I expect her to depict.

Just one comment to Nyghtfall, that those who like 'bad girl' I think internalize 'deserves it' so that aids in keeping any 'uncomfortableness' away in our minds of 'doing violence to innocent or unsuspecting women'.

Interesting as always how two humans into the fantasies of 'women in peril' or 'fantasy female demise', have almost 'opposite' things by which we are each stimulated.....LOL.

Innocent girls make it 'too real' for me; bad girls I can see in celluloid roles that I somehow do not translate the same way in terms of them 'dying' in a movie.
