Has anyone seen "A Serbian Film"?

Suzi saw this film and alerted me to it; however, it appears to be quite brutal, and may actually have adverse implications for our community.

Has anyone seen it?
What do you think of the movie?

Blue, I'm not sure it is the same film, or the same Serbian film, but 'elsewhere' there was a clip from some movie id'd with similar name where a blonde bad girl in leather has a somewhat brutal fight in semi-darkness (I HATE it when such things are not clear to see, no matter what 'effect' is being attempted!) and then is shot against a wall in a scene that would be great I think if I could SEE more of her FACE clearly as she goes down.

I do not remember 'how' brutal the fight was, but remember it as INTENSE...as in...INTENSE. This was one tough bitch when, I believe, she was 'discovered' where she should not have been....lol. INTENSE.

This is no help unless you check out that old thread at that other place and have no idea how long ago it was posted, sometime in the past year.

But I'm pretty sure that anyone wanting to find it, could search it out there; it might have been an individual Post contribution under a title including the word "Serbia" or "Serbian", it may have been something from one of the 'collections' people over there have made, like BigO, but I'm pretty sure this was not a BigO clip. He'd remember, anyway, he knows everything about all 304,300 clips he has in his files....LOL!

And I believe it had its own thread, but I'm not certain.

Here are a couple screenshots I saved under the name 'SerbianScars'. That could be the movie title, or maybe not, I'm terrible at such 'saving' under logical names.

And these may NOT be from the film you reference, I just do not know.

Maybe these will 'trigger' other people's memories. Sorry, but I deleted the clip from my files shortly after saving it...lol.

The frame she takes the bullet is obvious with the slight 'collapse' in mid-body where her face goes downward. And I do like the last two views of her face in the final moments of her wall slide here.

Best I can do, Blue, and either way, Members will not object to the picture sequence...LOL!

I forget what type of object she has in her right hand; maybe a wrench or something she used in the fight, but I do not think it's a gun. I know, I should be able to recognize 'a piece' by now, but I'm sooooo naive about such things.

She's blonde, she's in black, so I saved them, what can I say?

I didn't see this film, but I found the post that describes the plot to a T. You can find a reference to it on the other site under the title, The Serbian Film. The thread can be found on the death fantasy board. It was second from the bottom when I spotted it.

There also, Kevin, was a link to this clip, obviously, or I would not have been able to capture the above screenshots. I tell ya, Blonde Logic is never wrong!

Hopefully someone has the clip, or provides the link to it; I'll look tomorrow if I have time, look 'over there' I mean, because the clip was posted. Then maybe Blue can determine with Suzi whether it's from the same movie that she saw.

Or maybe she can tell from these screenshots whether they are from the movie she saw.

Having done all she has done with Blue, I have to believe she would 'remember' this sequence if she saw it...LOL.

I am pretty sure that this is the correct film. From the description below, I would advise not to eat popcorn while watching it (lol).

i don't remember that scene, sandi. but tbh i did not watch the entire film. there was one VERY brutal scene involving a rape and murder that made me wince and recoil, much like the scene in Chaos did. i can do without that much realism, sadism, and brutality thank you very much.

as can I do without it, as you know, Kelli....lol. Completely without it.

It was just that I remembered this scene with the screenshots as being a rather brutal fight; that's probably a hammer in her right hand. Sometimes I like to imagine 'intense' fights but not with brutally graphic visuals, ever.

But I must have deleted the clip for a reason, and it was either 'too dark to see clearly enough' or 'too brutal'.

I'm old, I forget which.

Thanks, though, by no means did I want you to watch it again to confirm or deny that these screenshots might have been from the movie you have. I sure wouldn't have watched it again since it's the way you describe it. No brutal rape scenes, thank you, much too real.

For both of us, though rape fortunately does not have to be part of my memories from the attack on me..
