3D Rendering Software Suggestions

I am looking into creating some photosets of my interests, nothing animated just 1 to 5 stills utilizing available models that can be purchased and modified. There is a fairly large selection of software and would love suggestions of which one might be best for this and have readily available models/sets that can be purchased and modified.

DAZ Studio would be an ideal choice. The app is free and includes content to help you get started and decide whether 3D is what you want to work in. It's what I started with and use. You can even create your own figures from existing models using paramater dials and save them as character presets.
