The French Dispatch... Spoiler.

The always striking Saoirse Ronan has a smaller role in Wes Anderson new film that just opened stateside today, the French Dispatch, playing a sexy member of a kidnapping gang. And apparently she and her fellow kidnappers are killed when their dinner is poisoned. And it seems the deaths or at least the bodies are seen onscreen.

Any more detail or info would be most appreciated.

Well I located the film online in a semi decent cam quality and just checked out the poisoning. Its offscreen in that we don't see any of the deaths occur but there is this long shot where it pans from room to room, like moving from one frame to the next in a comic book, showing all the kidnappers dead... many in humorous positions... as the narrator explains the circumstances and the final room and corpse shown is Saoirse. She's seen in fairly good closeup sitting slumped in her chair up against the wall, arms to the sides and her plate still balanced on her lap, her head titled to the side and eyes staring wide at the camera with a great dead sort of a look.

She's wearing this outfit and pretty much sitting in the same spot, only imagine her dead.

Also in the room before hers two other female kidnappers are also seen dead with one against the wall right in the forefront of the frame with her corset cleavage and wide staring eyes seen superbly up close as the camera pans past her. Another woman is seen dead in the bathtub in the back of the room, eyes closed.

Saoirse looks astonishing dead and even though its just the one quick shot... its glorious if you ask me.
