Have Director B stop bumping project threads with oft-repeated screenshots of new and (especially) old content. I've never seen a board spam its own material so much. I find it annoying to check for new posts and see a page full of bumped threads. I have to skim them to find unrelated new topics.

I kind of like the chat room at fetnoir. What would it take to get some scheduled chats with some of the Blue Stone models? Or, maybe even the Sexy Latin Amazons or other vendors? I cannot be the only shleprock who is interested in what makes these women tick. A producer once just told me they are just out to get some work, but this is such a special niche I can't believe that is entirely true. I am sure there are some phpbb chat add ons that would work.

There actually is a chat function here that we used years ago, but it was not kept up, and for the life of me, I don't even remember how to access it, but your idea of an Add-On would solve that issue.

G-Man, I hereby issue an official Bluestone Order in Council (a council of 1) deputizing you to gather the Bluestone militia together and seek out a Chat Add-On that can be added front and center to the FF board!

As for the lovely Bluestone ladies joining in for scheduled chats, we did have something similar years ago where Suzi and others appeared on FF and interacted with fans, but I don't think the current Bluestone ladies would be available for such chats. That, however, would leave the stage open for all of the other producers to encourage their lovely cast to drop by some evening to chat with their fans. After all, I'm trying to rein in my Bluestone advertising, so best to fully open this chat opportunity up to my distinguished competition.

Chat would definitely be a nice addition here at FF. It's fun just to hang out and talk in real-time with friends in the community. And wow, having an actress-visit night to talk with those fabulous gals of death eros film would be amazing, Blue hon!

Interesting.... I could probably get one or two of my actors to get into this. Should be fun...

And in response to an earlier comment, I do think most of them basically do this as an income. But it does take a certain type to be willing to expose themselves to the ideas we film, and they always seem interested in the audience for the work. So, yes, I'd say it could be done.

Perhaps, if the chat were reserected, Talent Night should be scheduled infrequently so that we could maintain some continuity on the idea.

The biggest thing you could do from my perspective is to combine the producer side with the general conversations. I, for one, tend to only look at the producer side because of the time involved in checking each one. So, I always miss these conversations. In fact, I almost missed this one, just a fluke that I opened this category! And when there aren't many posts, the categories always seem deserted. That was never the case with DS. SOMETHING was going on all the time.

That's not to say that stories shouldn't have their own repository, because it is so much better to have a "Library" where you can find them all in one place. But even the story writers should be encouraged to post an announcement in the General Discussion category, so you really get an overview of all the interesting content in one location.

IMO it is all Director B's fault, Bluestone. Perhaps you should have public castigations of him on the Forum?

Hi All,

Well, I can only blame so much on Director B. He is just so excited about our projects that he wants everyone to know about all of our exciting productions... but I have reined him in. Instead of bumping threads, our new approach will be to keep to one thread to spotlight our top sellers in our Superheroine productions as well as our Crime videos in addition to threads for upcoming and recently released videos as long as we are posting new stills or other content. In addition, we will be asking for more fan feedback on what fans want to see. So, that should address Nyghtfall's comments above.

As for the chat function, G-Man has found an add-on chat function that we will be installing, since other chat rooms would require a double-sign in order to avoid bots and spammers, while the add-on will allow all posting members to chat. I will let everyone know when we are going to install this chat function. Our tech guys have this on their project list.

Tommygun, that is a great idea about arranging a time for talent appearances, and announcing it and other postings elsewhere on the Main forum, so that members don't miss out on any of the fun! As for combining forums, that is not really in the cards, because it does artificially create an appearance for more traffic and activity, which is the DeadSkirts way, but it also leads to a very messy and unfocused board. Anyone looking for what's available from producers can easily see these, and for much longer, on the Producers forum. Those looking for free mainstream clips, can find loads on the Video and Image Share forum, and Superheroine fans have their own sub-forum. This is one of the differences between FF and DS, and I'd rather keep this format, even though it looks like the traffic is less than DS. You will note that Fetnoir adopted more of an FF approach than a DS approach to board organization, and it is working quite well for Grace and crew!

Keep those ideas coming! As Frasier would say, "I'm listening"!

Yes, when we set up FetNoir in 2012 (8 years ago, how the time flies!) we followed the FF format more closely than the DS style, and it has worked great. Things are bustling all the time, and as Blue says, folks can go and look at the areas that interest them most very easily.

Hey, if you get the Talent Night rolling after you install your chatbox, maybe we can also have a Party Night simultaneously on the two boards, FF and FN. We could encourage members to jump back and forth, and make new friends. That would be fun! I'd be happy to coordinate that with you anytime, Blue my love!

For those who are new to the FF board, unlike Geno, FF does not feel threatened by other community boards, such as Fetnoir. In fact, we try to encourage each other, because the community is always richer for having more than one place to hang out. Joint events sounds like a great idea and I applaud the suggestion from my sexy neighbour.

By the way, following up on Tommygun's suggestion about combining forums so that there's one place to look for everything, that function is already on FF. All you have to do is click on the "View Active Topics" link on the top left hand side of FF's main page (under the Last Visit date and time notation).

I'm curious. How many use this function and how many go to the main page and from there to the various forums? I always go to the main page, but Director B swears that everyone uses the Active Topics view. Who's right... The big boss (that's me) or the guy who I screw up (D.B.)?
