In this scene, sexy Anna Maria Rosati, playing Laura, is strangled to death on the floor by the machete-wielding killer, but only after she tries to fight off her attacker, and after he trips her up, climbs on top of her struggling body and strangles her. Her death stare is one of absolute terror!

In this scene, evil Jon Voight grabs Kari Wuhrer in a leg scissors hold and strangles her to death.
This scene is added because of its unusual nature. The victim is not dressed in a sexy outfit, but it is a brutal slaying of a beautiful woman. Voight's character is tied to a pillar with his legs toed together too. In order to perform this killing, he had to lure the victim within striking distance, then throw his legs into the air so that he could wrap his legs around her neck. Then, he brought his legs together to trap her neck between his legs as he proceeded to kill her.

Body Double (1984) - elevated strangle and drilling of sexy Deborah Shelton
Body Double is a 1984 American erotic thriller film directed, co-written, and produced by Brian De Palma. It stars Craig Wasson, Gregg Henry, Melanie Griffith and Deborah Shelton. The film is a direct homage to the 1950s films of Alfred Hitchcock, specifically Rear Window, Vertigo and Dial M for Murder, taking plot lines and themes (such as voyeurism and obsession) from the first two. This one’s hard to categorize, but the elevated strangle, though it doesn’t prove fatal, is quite sensuous. So, even though she is drilled to death with a huge electric drill after the strangle scene, I’ve put this in both the stabbing/power tools and the asphixia/strangle death chapters for the sheer eroticism of the non-fatal strangle scene. The power drilling was also a brutal, but sexy, killing!
CSI New York (Unfriendly Chat - 2010) - Babe garotted while video chatting
Season 7, Episode 2. Adam witnesses the murder of a beautiful woman during a random video chat, and the team discovers that the victim just so happens to be a music student who lives in Manhattan, Sass Dumonde (played byAmra Silajdzic). There are lots of shots of the dead body with a ligature marks on her neck as CSI investigates. Reviewer: “A cute French dancer is garroted on the internet as a CSI watches on in horror. Crime scene follows, showcasing nice body shots, leg show and death stare!” I have assembled the killing chronologically from the original which was non-chronological bits and pieces.
