My Dwindling Purchase Trends

Apparently, I've become increasingly picky during the last two years. That, or I've become too afraid of getting burned by bad production values. Or both.

I just took stock of my year-to-date purchases, and discovered I've only bought 20 videos so far - twelve less than last year. I've even passed on a number of lift-up stranglings (my favorite kind) because something about them didn't appeal to me.

I wish I could just be thankful even one element of a new release piqued my interest enough to support the producer and buy a copy, but more often than not I find myself waiting to see if someone else releases something closer to what I like. In the long run, I end up buying nothing, or very few.

Quite a few times this year, I've thought about going through every producer's back catalog and buying a copy of every video that appealed to me in some small way just to tell them, "Yes, this is what I want to see. Please make more like this."

To what degree do you let your interests influence what you buy?

I guess it depends on a few things. price, plot, and does it have elements that will hit my tastebuds. also does the actresses know how to act? the maturity look of them. camera angles that show my tastes. also different payment options helps too. hehe. Ya in the past I have purchased clips that I wished I didnt and there is clips that I liked. I mostly go for mainstream scenes now a days mostly. easier to get. But anyways my tastes is a driving force and extra money goes into the thinking of do I want to purchase a particular clip. not just look at some screencaps and post comments on them to show support.
