General Discussion Topics??????

I think it's time to explore something that's been bothering me of late. There are a lot of postings here asking me and G-Man questions about our sites, which is just fine; however, there seem to be very few threads started by other members about non-site issues, such as:

1. Death scenes in current movies;
2. Opinions on our fetish;
3. Matters of general interest to our community;
4. Any other 'on topic' issue, such as the upcoming UK legislation.

I am concerned that people feel that we're only interested in stroking our own egos here. On other boards, such as Dead Skirts, there are a wide range of discussion topics. I would personally like to see more of these type of general topics mixed in with the Petra, Suzi, Jessica and other Bluestone threads.

For example, Velvet (Jacqueline Velvets) did post an announcement regarding her new site, but it did not seem to encourage any chloro discussions on the board, or even any questions for her to answer about her site or her involvement in our fetish.

I'd like to hear from all of you out there. Are there topics that you feel uncomfortable posting on this board? Do you want to see more topics posted for general discussion? Let's hear from as many of you as possible on this subject. Also, feel free to start new threads on matters of general interest. After all, I created this board to foster a community, not just to advertise the Bluestone sites. That's why even my competitors are allowed to advertise on the "Other Media" forum.

So, let's hear from that silent majority out there.

Blue,

I'm glad you brought this subject up. I would like to see more fetish discussions here as well. In Jackie's case, I would encourage her to make a few more posts to see if people will engage her more. Though most of us probably aren't chloro fans, a lot of us like her and the work she's done for Silk Videos. She might be able to change a few minds with more pics and comments especially if she uses our fetishes as a lead in to hers.

Hi,
I agree with Max and Blue, we need to have a more active board. I will try to do my
part.

I am a recent member and do have a few posts. But everytime I go and look at any other section where maybe there is something of interest for me to post I get scared off by seeing that ONLY Mods ( and related parties) start athreads. There is ONLY "On Topic" section which has any variety. I do appreciate your request BUT feel that the "names" of the sections are to "narrow". Hardly can I put a clip from lets say upcoming "Bitch Slap" movie into "necromedia" section. Maybe re naming a section or adding one more "inviting" will be the solution.

Thanks for your input, bakerboy. The theory is that one free-wheeling forum for posting anything about our fetish is better than many different forums. It gives everybody one place to look for these type of discussions and information postings. NecroMedia is restricted to advertising by non-Bluestone pay sites. We restrict posting there so that it won't get too cluttered. The What's New forum is also advertising, but limited to the Bluestone sites, including FF itself. If you have a video to share, we have a forum just for that purpose, being the Video Share forum. The Pulped Fiction forum is limited to stories, which have to be pre-approved by admin, but you can comment on these stories on their individual threads. So, you see it is a very organized board.

We don't have an Off-Topic board, because we don't see people coming here to talk about baseball or local politics not involving anti-necro legislation. Certainly, if you wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, etc., that would certainly be allowed on the On Topic board, since it relates to our community. So, make this On Topic forum your main posting forum. The more posts here, the better.

If you note one of my replies in one of the polls " about mixing various fetishes" you will note that I was very much for "mixing" as I believe that "too much of the same thing over and over" soon becomes boring. At least to me anyway. Therefore I do agree with your comment that:
The theory is that one free-wheeling forum for posting anything about our fetish is better than many different forums.
as it loosely applies to my point.

I also agree ( and appreciate) that you allow "competing and alternate" ( in my case alternate) clips and pictures which are only related in some fashion and not singly and strictly "FF" . In my view that makes your forum more "alive" ( pun intended :wink: ). I make no secret that I am registered affiliate of the site about which I mostly post here, but not for profit but because I want that site stay in business since I like the topic and their movies. I also like that their forum allows and has a section where "competing and alternate" sites can be promoted.

The only thing still unclear to me is how a movie like this http://www.bitchslapmovie.com/ which appears to have some decent FF can be called "necro -media" and hence I have suggested changing that section of the forum name... " babes in peril" sounds good to me :yes:

Aagin, I agree with the rest of your points and will try to be more active :approve:

Agree with Bakerboy and Blue that variety and a open site is really a great idea and provides a forum for everyone.What is great about this site is the civility and the response by Blue and G man to listen to ideas and concerns.It is really appreciated that Blue has added mini series and extra bonus videos for his members that can mix venues even if only a percentage appeals to the audiance. G man also finds gems and the share forum fills in the void.Its hard to please everyone but i like the models themselves adlibing and producing on their sites or with producers .This is a very expensive and time consuming venture and it is appreciated. By supporting sites talent like Petra will be flown in ,sets and FX will improve and more quality production will take place.Without a doubt this site has the best preview sites and whats coming up photos... No complaints here..G
