Bluestone Server Upgrades

The Bluestone server is being upgraded once again. So, if the Bluestone sites are off-line over the next 10-15 days at any time, do not be concerned. Once we've changed everything over, we'll have doubled our speed and storage space. We are building for the future in order to serve you better over the years to come.
I am also using this time period to take a break myself and enjoy some fun in the sun. I'll be back in a week or two.

Hey All,
I'm flying out Sat. morning for a week. I've just updated the Bluestone stores. The next update will be when I get back on Aug. 24th.
I'll still be reachable through emails during my vacation, but not by pm.
The final changeover of the sites to the new server is now scheduled for the Aug. 24-26th window.

We have scheduled Sunday, August 25th at midnight EST (the witching hour), to close down all Bluestone sites for the changeover to our new improved server platform! So, during the changeover, we will be closing:
1. The Genre Videos video mall;
2. The Silk 'N Blood store; and,
3. The Femme Fatalities message board.
We're hoping to be back up and running soon thereafter, but if you're planning to make purchases, best to make them prior to the witching hour!

Hi All,
FF is back. We had a little blip early this morning where all posts from August 12th on were not transferred, but all has been recovered. If you're reading this, you're now on our new, improved, dedicated server. YAY!!!! 
Just looking into some minor issues with recently uploaded images at Genre and Silk 'N Blood. Hope to have that corrected shortly.

FYI, Blue; I'm getting error codes when trying to log on to the FF main site.
I've been relying on a password previously supplied (ffmember and its' subsequent entry code). Is the non-entry the result of an incomplete change over or do I need to apply for an updated password?

Hi Random,
The problem is at my end. There are a few issues that still have to be sorted out as a result of the server upgrade:
1. As you mentioned, the FF membership site (not the message board, but the former FF paysite which includes the Silk Videos Promotional Site) requires an upgrade, because the software is incompatible with the new server's upgraded PHP software. That is why you are receiving errors and cannot access the site;
2. The search function at both the Silk 'N Blood and the Genre Videos store is also not working properly;
3. Links at the bottom of the Silk 'N Blood store are not working properly;
4. Both stores are not properly generating thumbnail images for new video postings.
All of these issues are being addressed, and we hope to have them fixed before the end of the week. Our software people have brewed a fresh pot of coffee, and will be staying up late tonight working on fixes.
All in all, 99% of the changeover went without issue, but there will always be something in this digital world that will not go completely according to plan. Take the launch of any new Windows version since 1995 for example!

Blue, the main site is back on-line but there has been a small change.
The log-in function has a different format than before the update. No bog deal except the previous version automatically entered the password when the username was selected. Naturally, I never recorded the password.
Any chance you could send me a PM for username ffmember?

Yes, we simplified the login. It's the same for anyone reading the FF board.

Password: stone
The Silk Videos Promo postion of the FF Private Members' club is still not accessible, but that will be sorted out soon.

Okay... finally... all of the server upgrade issues have been found and fixed.
The Silk Videos Promotional Site is now accessible using the above credentials.
The thumbnail image generators at both Genre Videos and the Silk 'N Blood store are fixed, so that the overlarge images for recent products have been reduced.
FF and all of the other Bluestone sites are up and running properly.
