Cinemasphyxia.com - Updates Have Resumed

The current version of the new Reality plug-in for Poser has proven too unstable for my needs. Coupled with the realization that I've spent more than I can afford on content I may never use, I'm setting that hobby aside again to re-focus my attention on this one. My deviantART account will remain open, but I've removed the link from the Site Map.
It's funny how the complex nature of creating digital art makes me appreciate the simplicity of editing video clips and maintaining a web site. What had become a chore has turned back into a pleasure-filled hobby by comparison. To that point, I've reconsidered my decision to only post updates when I'm in the mood. Since starting this hobby 14 years ago, I've seen many other sites dedicated to various types of mainstream peril fall by the wayside and eventually shut down because their owners grew tired and moved on with their lives. While I can certainly relate to their fatigue, I care too much about my site to risk letting the same thing happen to it. As such, the weekly updates will continue as of now, and I have over 60 titles in my Netflix queue to help me keep it updated regularly. I will also continue my efforts to upgrade all of my clips to High Quality 720 x 480 WMV format.
With that in mind, I've modified the layout for the clip pages again. I missed my nice, neat tables, so I brought them back, and set the backgrounds to black so preview pics won't clash with the textured wallpaper used throughout the site. My new plan is to have all the clip pages updated with the new layout by October.
I've re-arranged and updated the Vendors & Links page with a new Fetish Producer, Truly Rough Productions. TRP is the only producer who shoots lift-up stranglings (my favorite kind) with any degree of regularity. Combine that with their wonderfully artistic use of Depth-of-Field camera effects, the creative freedom they apparently enjoy shooting a wide variety of scenarios, and terrific performances by their models, and highly recommend them. Since launching a year ago, they've become the only producer I most eagerly await new material from.
The first incarnation of my site was launched in October 1999. Financial circumstances forced its closure two years later. I re-launched it in August 2004, after learning how much cheaper bandwidth had become. Since then I've always celebrated the re-launch instead of the original launch date. Going forward, I'll be celebrating the original launch date.
Finally, the write-ups for the only update in April are now online.
New this week are clips from the following:
Strangling: Hannibal: "Entree"
Suffocation: Home Sweet Home
Suffocation: Jack Reacher
Suffocation: Traveler, The
