You have no idea how excited I am right now. 
Pinnacle Systems, the company behind my video editing software, has released a new version called Studio 16 Ultimate. Designed especially for 64-bit PC's, it takes advantage of nVidia CUDA hardware acceleration for faster rendering speeds when creating video clips. They've also redesigned the UI and added a host of new features to improve productivity. Suffice it to say, it is really nice.
After going through their online video training, I started editing some test clips. Not only does Studio 16 provide significantly faster rendering, it creates high quality WMV files at 720 x 480 resolution in less than half the file size that Studio 15 did at 640 x 360. In other words, they have made huge strides in WMV file compression! I cannot wait to start re-editing my collection again!
Starting with this week's update, all of my clips will be in 720 x 480 resolution. I've also re-edited November 8's update, In Her Skin, with the new format.
New for November 11, 18, and this week are clips from the following:
Drowning: Shark Night 3D
Hanging: Killer Weekend
Strangling: Killer Weekend
Strangling: The River Murders
