Anyone here read this erotic novel? Does it do anything to legitimize our fantasies? My understanding is that it stretches the mainstream mindset regarding erotic fetishes. I haven't read it, but a female friend told me that it's really, really good, and makes my death fantasies tame by comparison!

The only close to DS is the time when his ex-submissive surprises Anastasia and Mr. Grey with a loaded gun, but she is disarmed without incident. The steamy stuff is BSDM light, but the encounters get more graphic as it gets to Book 2 (darker) and Book 3 (freed) is the least steamy. Going to make a great movie if they choose the right Anastasia. I like Alexis Bledel, although there are a few others who have some experience with nudity.

I have read it, definitely "Mommy Porn!". It should make for an interesting movie when they make it.
