I toyed with making this poll more complicated and detailed, but it did not seem to add much to the clarity. People's interest in this regard tends to be a fairly simple point on a line. Here I give you from seven points to choose from.

Consensual/nonconsensual what? Sex, death? What am I voting for?

You are right though in that a poll could well be done on the 'rape' side of things. I am not a good one to do that however, as I have too much emotionality about the issue to create an impartial poll.

Is there much consensual death out there? Are you talking women willing to die? Give me a scenario. I guess Im not fully understanding what you mean by that.

There is plenty of consensual material out there if you look for it, though nowhere near as much as there is of non-consensual. Consensual could mean an assisted suicide. It could mean a woman who has a fetish for being stabbed (or whatever) deciding she wants to "go all the way". It could even mean for some, such as myself, two amazons in a death fight. They aren't exactly 'consenting' to die, but they are deliberately putting themselves into a situation in which one of them could/will die.

OK, or a willing object of sacrifice for some reason or another. That could work.

I voted for consensual as that plays into my preference for non-realistic portrayals.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be scene where the woman wants to die. Rather, she is unnaturally unafraid of death, because the death is an unrealistic scenario, or the death may be sexually stimulating to her. I like humorous scenes a lot. Killing a woman cannot be humorous if she is realistically afraid of death. However, if, (tongue-in-check, with a wink-and-a-nod,) she knows she is going to die for my viewing pleasure it can be , for me, both erotic and humorous. The scene may or may not break the 4th wall; I don't mind either scenario.


The greatest turn-off for me is a woman afraid to die, portrayed in mortal fear, and in great agaony, murdered against her will. Especially if the realistic murderer is a male who gets off torturing and murdering women.
As I have said in the past, such portrayals are appropriate in dramas; but hold no erotic value to me.
