FF - A Report to the Membership

No, this is not a 'State of the Necro Nation' Address; although, the timing is interesting!
It is simply a time to reflect on the past developments here at FF, as well as encouraging a discussion about setting a course for the coming year.
Yes, as Femme Fatalies closes in on it's 3rd anniversary, it's time to reflect on the past and discuss the future...
- We've grown from a few members to over 3,700 and are on track for close to 4,000 members by March 1st, three years from the date that G-Man and I opened this site.
- As the growth process takes time, we kept the number of separate forums to a minimum, but as numbers grew, we added an 'All Topic' forum, which also is hidden from the public eye, being a place where members can interact more privately. We also added a 'Candid Review Forum' where members can tell other members what's good and not so good from our community producers. Recently, a "How To" forum was added to provide assistance with manipulating images and videos for members interested in doing so. So, our activity on F.F. is now spread out over 8 specialized forums. It's a gamble, because it separates members into groups. Some members will, for example, only post on the "Video and Image Share" forum, but on balance I think it's a more organized approach that allows those looking for a specific topic to not have to wade through pages and pages of other topics. Also, Producers like it, because they don't have to constantly and artificially bounce their ads up a busy "On Topic" forum page. What are the thoughts from the rest of you?
- F.F. started off as a pay site with an attached community message board. It is now a community message board only that is free for any community member's use, and always will be. I miss G-Man's pay site, but I've always felt that the message board section was the more important of the two portions of the site.
- There was an era, or was that 'error', called the board wars, where FF and its members became embroiled in community politics. Labels were assigned to websites, such as Co-Friendly, Rival, and Limited Status. In fact, I myself donned my Blue Knight armour and sallied forth into battle. All part of growing pains. That's all it really was. Other message boards had come and gone. I was determined to make sure that FF survived well beyond its 3rd anniversary... and it has survived, and it will survive, and it will thrive! There is no need to jostle for position and for survival. There is no need for board wars. We made what we feel will be a lasting peace this past year. 'Live and let live' would be the mantra... if this wasn't an erotic death fetish board. So, the mantra should be, "Enjoy Erotic Death here, and there, and everywhere"!
- What's in the future? Well, I've been working on getting a chatroom added to the site. I have encountered some challenges there, but that is my aim for the coming year. We are also concentrating on more fun events... Story Contests, Annual Awards Presentations, Guest Appearances by Fetish Actresses, and many other fun events. What would others like to see added or changed?
Remember, this is your message board. So, tell me what YOU want to see in FF's very bright future!
