The new FaceBook privacy setting...

Today, the new FaceBook privacy setting: "Instant Personalization" goes into effect. The new setting shares your data with non-Facebook websites & it is automatically set to "Enabled".Go to Account>Privacy Settings>Apps & Websites>Instant Personalization>edit settings & uncheck "Enable". BTW If your friends don't do this, they will be sharing info about you as well.

Luckily, if you have all the platform apps already turned off, it will not enable as well.

I don't take friends unless they are close relatives or someone I really know.

I haven't switched over to the "new-style" profile and it tells me that this blessing is not available for me.
No one in their right mind would ever put anything other than neutral chit-chat on facebook anyway??

A lot of people are not in their right mind. It is amazing what people do post and then are upset when others know about it. I never friend anyone I don't know personally and use it to get out news I want everyone to know. Its the easiest way t do that.

Anyone into this fetish should use different browsers for different surfing habits. I use Firefox for Fetish, and Opera for all else.

Of course, your IP number is common, but at least cookies are kept quarantined.
