It certainly has that "made for tv" look to it. I never watched the show, but wasn't this pretty much what that "Silk Stalkings" was about? Just a wild guess.

I don't remember the title, but it's a French thriller from a decade or so ago, about a therapist who's framed for the murder of his client, shown in the clip.
What the clip doesn't show is the therapist falling asleep during the session before the killer shows up and kills his patient.
