I think it is quite impossible to actually 'explain' a fetish to someone who does not have that fetish. Such attempts invariably are adults trying to put adult rationalizations onto utterly juvenile accidents of wiring, so as to explain it after the fact. People do not get a fetish because of a reason. They are accidents of wiring, where a person, usually quite young, makes an inappropriate connection between their arousal and some other 'thing' that concurred with that arousal. Through repeated remembering and the using of that as masturbatory fantasy, the inappropriate thing becomes reinforced into the person's sexuality, till it finally becomes a fetish. As to how someone develops a crush fetish, that is probably a different story for each such person, just as it would be for us with ours.

All that said, it bothers me that crush fetish is listed along with the rest of our community's interests on Nicheclips. I seriously wish they had their own page. As it is now, it looks to an outside observer that our fetish and their (crush) fetish are one and the same. While we know that this is most emphatically not the case, they have no way of knowing. Indeed, someone who has done any study of the psychology of killers would know that a classic indicator is the willingness and desire to actually harm creatures, simply for pleasure. So the presence of crush is boubly damning to us. It makes us look like we really are killers.

Personally I don't see the appeal in squishing small creatures. I definitely smoosh insects in the house, but do it with a paper towel. Of course, I know many people who would find the sight of a beautiful woman riddled with fake bullet wounds less than arousing as well.

How I understand it is that this is a sub-fetish of a foot-fetish in combination with a dominatrix fetish. There is also a tie in to upskirt fetish. Then, there are deviations from that.

It's all quite gross to me. I don't care that real bugs are getting crushed. It certainly does not amount to genocide. A pet store sells most of these to be gobbled up by snakes and other pets anyhow. Fish are always doomed to slow death in an badly filtered fish talk. Frogs, well, more snake food.

I just don't like slim. Looking up through Plexiglas at a hot girl is great. If she were stepping on an egg it would not be any more sexy. If course, I can think of much, much more disturbing things she could be doing standing spread-legged over that Plexiglas. Good thing we are not in Japan. :-)

I won't knock what I don't understand, but I am amazed at how many
producers are turning out crush videos. There must be a huge market
out there.

Many of the models on these sites are nothing short of drop-dead
gorgeous. Sure wish they could be recruited into the snuff porn business
for the benefit of us "normal" people.
