The new Cinemagore Community is a forum-based extension of Cinemagore.com and designed to serve as a gathering place for the fantasy death fetish community. NO SEXUALLY EXPICIT CONTENT

Cinemagore exists to celebrate fantasy death scenes in live-action mainstream movies and TV. It does not contain sexually explicit content. That philosophy includes this forum and extends to fetish videos advertised here. Therefore, multimedia that depict said content is prohibited.

NO ARTWORK

Here in the US, the legal age of adulthood is 18. Anyone under 18 is a minor. United States Code states that digital or computer generated images that are indistinguishable from an actual minor are illegal.

Since the government doesn't have a guide I can reference to moderate content by other artists, and I can't afford legal council, artwork is prohibited.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Because of the interactive nature of the forum, and to protect member privacy, registration is required to access its content. You must provide a valid email address to complete the registration process.

MODERATED POSTS

I want to maintain a friendly atmosphere here. I also want to keep spammers out. The registration form has an anti-spam system built in. As an extra layer of precaution, your first few posts will require moderator approval by me. Once I've ensured you're human, you'll be allowed to post freely.

Please Note: Promotion to standard access is not instantaneous. The system runs an hourly event that automatically promotes users who've met the requisite number of approved posts.

I've updated the NO ARTWORK section of the Welcome page to exclude photo manipulations.

Someone asked about topless nudity so I've updated the Welcome page to clarify that topless and full-frontal nudity are allowed. Hardcore elements like intercourse and fellatio are not.

I've updated the description of The Silver Screen & Cathode Ray to make it clear that open discussion about our fantasy death fetish is what that forum is for.

Switching back and forth between my clip site and the stock blue and white of my new board proved a visually jarring experience so I've re-styled the board with a dark motif.

I've closed my new board.

TLDR Reason

Lack of interest and my concerns over content moderation.

Long Reason

Lack of interest: Membership was growing at a relatively steady pace but too few people were posting and I was struggling to come up with topics to encourage activity. I also blame myself because of the restrictions I put on the type of content I was going to allow but had no intention of loosening them.

Content moderation: Last night, I briefly joined DarkFetishNet.com. I read their TOS during registration and noticed a section about prohibiting revenge porn. That's not something I considered ever having to moderate so I looked into it further. Their TOS mentions independently produced photos must be accompanied by verifiable written permission from the models that their consent was given to have photos of them published. While browsing various galleries, I also found images of disturbingly young looking models with no disclaimers beyond the usual "it's all fantasy!"

My gut reaction and only thought: "NOPE!"

I deleted my DFN account this morning because their interface sucks, and spent the day at work weighing my options about my board. I've decided I don't want to be responsible for moderating that kind of subject matter, nor do I want to re-purpose the board and limit it to clip discussions, so I'm deleting it after I post this.

Rest assured, my clip site isn't going anywhere. I own the domain through 2029, and there will always be a two-week window to comment on blog entries.
