I hadn't ever been a fan of drowning clips until AWOL Nate and Dagomann asked me about drowning customs. Since then, I've looked a few of them and can see that some are actually quite erotic, and others are just so-so. It got me to take G-Man's recent post of "The Singing Detective" and re-edit the quick drowning scene he provided. The result is very pleasing.
Are there any other drowning clips that people have really enjoyed? Are there any Producer clips that someone would recommend? I'm very much into researching this and enjoying it!

Good ones, G-Man..!
To me, what really distinguishes the best drowning is when you get to see the face of the victim, struggling, realizing, and finally, giving in, with the pain that that involves... Is it that way for you as well?

Well, as you guys know, drowning is not my thing, so I'm no authority on what makes a good one. HOWEVER, here is a mainstream clip that I find VERY memorable. It's royal hotness Eva Green, who needs only stand there and look at you to melt you in your shoes.
Her drowning scene in Casino Royale (2006) has always stuck with me as far as drownings go. And I thought it was a cool movie, too. Have a gander:

If you've not seen it, I recommend it, not only for the drowning, but as a whole.

Glad to help. Some others that come to mind immediately are the scenes from "Ghost Story" where All-time royal hotness Alice Krige drowns in the sinking car. And also in "What Lies Beneath," where Amber Valletta meets sort of the same fate, but we don't really know for sure. Neither of these two scenes really show the full drowning, though, so it's more of a "leave it to your own imagination" as far as the final details go. Still, very memorable scenes to me.....

Oh, and forgive me if this has been covered recently in another thread, but I'm not usually looking at drowning stuff, LOL. "Would You Rather" is a jim dandy of a little film with an all-star cast that happens to feature the lovely Sasha Grey in a drowning scene:
