Cinemagore Closed, Re-Purposing Expenses

My license for the GDPR plugin I was using for Cinemagore expired yesterday. I bought it for a personal website I briefly ran last February. The plugin is $55/yr and I decided not to renew it so I could re-purpose the expense (more on that below). Since Cinemagore is no longer GDPR-compliant, I closed it this evening. Rest assured, I will continue sharing my favorite death scenes via MediaFire. Since threads on the video sharing forum are locked after a time, I'll be starting a new thread with links to the MP4's I had on Cinemagore.

Now, I have some news for those of you who don't visit FetNoir. Last Christmas, my wife gave me one hell of a present by greenlighting my long-held interest in becoming a fetish photographer. After 26 years of marriage, she's finally comfortable with the idea. Mind you, nothing is going to happen anytime soon. I've got a fuck-ton of research and learning to do, practical and financial challenges to work out. Meanwhile...

Last month, I geared up and started building my skills with macro photography. It's extreme close-up photography, usually of very small objects and living organisms like insects. For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by visual perspective and how macro photographers find ways to show beauty in small things. Inspired by countless photos I've seen throughout my life, I decided to pursue it myself. I've quickly found it to be a much more organic and creatively fulfilling experience than 3D art ever was, and have left 3D art behind.

I've been looking for a desktop-friendly third-party gallery platform to host my photos and display my burgeoning macro work to the general public. Yesterday, I learned one such platform, a 16-yr-old widely known and popular site called Flickr, was bought by a portfolio builder called SmugMug two years ago. Flickr was previously owned by Verizon, and Yahoo before that. They offer an ad-free Pro membership for $59/yr that I am now part of. You can visit my feed here:

This is a very exciting time for me. I'm eager to see where inspiration takes me and looking forward to finally producing original content with real models for the community.

All of the clips that were on Cinemagore are now on their new thread here, including the last few week's worth of updates.
