Interesting. The more things change, the more they stay the same. It really is too bad that this community isn't as vibrant and active as the other. Considering how much more civil it is here. :(

Which is why he has been banned from this site.
As to why that other board is still more active, despite such negativity, that is really our own fault. I also spent too much time over there, so I'm also part of the problem... or at least I was. Luckily, Geno restricted my access to DS. Best thing that ever happened to me. If I want to discuss something, I'll discuss it here. If I want to see what's happening in the community, I'll check out this board. Pennpaul, for example, can't advertise on DS, but he can advertise here. Same with KHP. So, why waste time on DS, when we have a superior board here? Time to break the habit folks. I can't think of one good reason to subject myself to that kind of negativity any longer. So, my New Year's resolution is a little late, but here it is:
"I hereby resolve not to post on DS any longer, and that includes advertising my Silk Videos site!"
End of story 
Man, I feel much better already. It's like giving up smoking... a nasty habit that!

You have to be patient with the PP girls.
Sederia ( at last posting) is no longer in her high paying job, and both girls were working several jobs to make ends meet. I'll make a posting over there and see if one of the moderators can help out.

I asked Janet about it last month (3 posts on the Questions for the Community board in Peter's thread about New Member Registrations). You can decide where you want to post your follow-up to Dalila's request. It has been nearly 2 months now since she applied for her PP membership.

I have had the same experience at PP. I requested a banner link several months ago, and it still isn't up on the links page. It appears that there is very little activity over there as of late.

I logged in and looked at the member list it, appears members have been approved almost daily.
I went back to june 1 ( member 1400) and didn't find anyone I know.
Interestingly out of members 1400-1650 only 3 have posted and only 1 has posted more than twice.
There was a posting by Sedira dated today, thanking Modedrators for trying to keep things running with their limited powers, Making all first time posts moderated, and saying she would be making a major announcement soon (?)
Maybe someone doesn't like you??? (I have no answer from my PM - and the member - moderator I sent one to has been online and posted since then )

The major disadvantage of running a non-pay site is that it's a lot of time and effort for no compensation. I think the administration at PP may be feeling these burn-out effects. Well, I guess we'll wait for the announcement.

I do not know what has been causing the delay in membership approvals. But I can say that the new policy of requiring first post approvals should fix the problem, as it should allow for instant registration of memberships, just not instant posting for the first post. Hopefully such kinks will be ironed out shortly.
I have had a few of my own actresses try to register on PP, also with not a one of them ever getting a response. This was clearly a problem and none of the moderators could understand why it was happening.
