As a result of an incident that occured on this board recently, the following new rule has been instituted by the FF Administration:

13) Anonymity of Members : All members shall be entitled to maintain their anonymity, and it is prohibited for any other member to reveal a member's true identity in any posts on this board. (Rule added July 28, 2009)

All members on this site use usernames to protect their privacy and on-line identity. This rule will be enforced by all FF moderators, if there is any attempt by any member to reveal, or threaten to reveal, a member's true identity.

This new rule is for the protection of all members of FF.

Has anyone (on this board only ) admitted to being someone else?
It does not matter who said what at another board. That is the problem for the other board.

Admittedly, We may not know how many names a person is posting under, ( at the moment) but we do not want members outing another member in public. If you have information, you should forward that to the Webmaster, not post it for all to see

I'm sure Blue will correct me if I am wrong...

I think the spirit of the rule is to ensure that no one is going to be accused by other members to be under a fake account screen name.

This topic is now locked. Identities are protected on this board. If more than one screen name is used by a member without the explicit consent of FF mangement, any such deception shall be dealt with by FF management. Because of the sensitive nature of this issue, such matters should be dealt with through private or email communication to FF management, not be posted on the public forum. Thank you.
