The Issue of Cyber-Stalking

The F.F. Administration has taken the position that cyber-stalking is tantamount to abusive behaviour, can result in psychological and emotional damage to the victim, and should in no way be tolerated in this community. Having said this, I feel that I must elaborate to assure everyone here that simple email communications or discussion board exchanges on a free speech board such as FF is not what we are targeting here. We are targeting situations where cyber-stalkers pursue their victims relentlessly beyond the confines of this board. We are talking about the sort of harassment that would be actionable and would constitute a criminal offence under the stalking laws of most democratic nations. No illegal activity can be permitted by, or facilitated through, the FF message board. We must protect our members from such activity, and we intend to do so. This is why Member Bellydancer_Killer has been banned from this site!

Well, after over a year in operation, with not one single person having ever been suspended or banned, we have now suspended or banned two individuals in one week. Does this signal a change in the way this board is being run? No. We are still a free speech board and we welcome all opinions, and do not plan to suspend or ban any members because we do not agree with their opinions or do not like them. It is only very extreme cases that will be dealt with in this fashion in order to protect our members from abusive and/or illegal behaviour. In those limited, high risk situations, we shall act and act decisively! Otherwise, it will simply be business as usual in our wonderful FF community.

If, any member attempts to re join after banning they will be dealt with, as there are tools available to identify them.
Blue , Kevin and I are available by PM to respond to any members concerns about the conduct of other members.
and...we do pay extra attention to new members...

Second the motion on the cyber stalkers.

In the past 10 years of producing this material, I've had about one or two people per year who have tried to get information about the models. The answer is always "none of their business" Not only would that be potentially dangerous to models, but there are probably liability issues for producers who would release such information.

Dealing with individuals of that ilk is just another reminder that there are pretty creepy people in and out of the community.

Thanks for giving other producers a heads up as to who the offender(s) are or might be.
