Well, let me explain why we do this, my friend. We have in the past suffered from attacks by spammers. Our forum goes on a sucker list and we had loads of them joining up. We put into place the arrangement that any new member would have their first posts vetted by Admin before they appeared for the rest of members. Thus the spammers never appear here as we just delete them immediately. We also have people join and try to file share, which is a strict no-no as well.
As soon as people are clearly genuine posters, their colour changes to blue and their posts appear immediately and they can also use the private message system. This is usually after the third approved post. There's method in our madness, Snake!

Patience and understanding, I think we all can appreciate your concern Snake but at the same time it is important for certain rules to be put into place in a forum. In the end, it is only for us to enjoy this space. Anyway, welcome to our community! ^^
