Genre Videos Upgrade!

Genre Videos will be temporarily closed commencing Monday, June 8th at 10:00 PM EST in order to migrate to a much larger hard disk on the Bluestone server! The migration is expected to continue throughout the night. We thank you for your patience while this update takes place, since it will allow for GV's continued expansion over the years. We are hoping that any disruption will be minimal.
Let me also take this opportunity to thank all of the producers and customers who have together made Genre Videos into an exciting, stable and viable alternative video mall for our community. We feature only the best producers in the industry, and your support of them will ensure that they will continue to produce the best videos for our community for many, many years to come!
I and my fellow producers wish to thank you for your support and encouragement over the past one and a half years!

Thanks Blue,
I've been returning to Genre again and again, and have now purchased 59 clips. Not sure which will be #60. It's been a welcome alternate and addition to the other sites. Despite what critics have said, it's one of the easiest to navigate and has never glitched even once. Thanks for your efforts.

Hey heartbreaker, great to hear from you. Thanks for your endorsement of Genre Videos. We try to keep glitches to a minimum, and I'm always here to troubleshoot in case of issues either with Genre Videos or with my Silk 'N Blood store.

I just closed the Genre Videos store a little early, so that customers won't find themselves halfway through a transaction when the lights go out. 
I'll re-open the store when I've been advised by the server host that the migration to the new server disk has taken place. Hopefully, all will go without a glitch and we'll be back up and running by morning.

This morning, Genre Videos is encountering some php errors on the store's login page as a result of the upgrade. Our tech people are working on a fix right now. Please stand by.
