How Long Have You Been In Our Community?

Our on-line death fetish community has now been around for well over a decade, and it keeps expanding. Starting from a small group during the early years of the Internet, it is now a rapidly-growing community linked with its own message boards, social networks, art sites and producer stores and malls.
So, just how long have most currently active FF members been enjoying the wonderland known affectionately as the Bluestone Mansion as well as other community sites?
We have had a lot of longtime community members 'retire' over the years, with newer members stepping forward to fill the void. We've also had longtime members return after a long hiatus. So, I thought it was time for a poll to see the makeup of the current FF board. If you are reading this post, you are one of those active members. There may be a lot of members that no longer visit as often, but you're here, so we want to hear from you. Please cast your ballot in this anonymous poll, and let us know how long the current FF crowd has been involved in our death fetish community... not just on the FF board, but on all of our community's various sites.

I discovered fantasy death fetish community through Necrobabes when it was still being hosted by a site called The Black Plague, in 1997. I've been a member of the community ever since.

For me, it has to be around the late 1990's when I discovered two sites, AJ's dunk-drownings site and also the old FG site which was run by G-Man

Of course, I've been a "member-in-wanting" for more than 60 years. But the lightning bolt that changed everything was seeing a listing for one of the DropDeadGorgeous/Necrobabes/DarkFantasies films on a site called "B-Movies." It was made for ME! I couldn't believe it. That was 1996 or 97, I think... Then I found G-Man's board and everything was Interstate Highway from that point onward...

I been around since 97, first finding Dark Fantasies, Necrobabes and Black Plague.

I've been lurking on the internet since Al Gore invented it
Naaa, really since about 97 when I found Necrobabes then Fatal Females, Femmegore and on from there.

I have been round since 1997. Before that, I was making death scene clips tapes probably 7-8 years prior.

Egads, I am pre-necrobabes! Back in the day of newsgroups, when there were no on-topic sites; stupefying waits for 17k modem downloads of jpg images. Mail order VHS tapes ordered on faith from purely written descriptions, and maybe one teeny promo image. How ecstatic I was to install a new 33kps modem! SUCH SPEED!..........................elsullo

Wow! Looks like there's a lot of old-timers still around! I wouldn't have guessed that the poll would be so one-sided in favour of the older members, but it's early yet. We'll see what the long weekend brings!

Around 15 years, but I'm not 100% as to the year of when I first came to know this fetish. As for this site in particular, likely around 10 years. I have had 2 or 3 aliases that I have long since forgotten as I come and go, but I have never been a big message board poster. I'll sometimes do reviews in order to stay involved as I don't buy near the amount of movies that I once did. Beyond that, these erotic-horror boards with their dark backgrounds are extremely hard to read for many people. Myself included. You'll never see a professionally designed site with a dark background. Oh lord, the eyestrain!
Therefore, I tend to come and go quite often.
My first discovery of erotic-horror as a fetish came from the usenet and downloading a Ruemorgue about girls in a house getting strangled and stripped. I was blown away that the fetish even existed and thrilled that I had discovered it. In hindsight, it was quite hammy, but back then when it was all very new, that was enough.
