How Long For You?

I just shot with Jessica recently, marking 9 years since we first shot together. It got me thinking as to how long I've been in this community, first as just a fanboy and eventually as a producer. I traced it back to 1998, when I first discovered G-Man's Fatal Females board, a precursor of Femmegore, upon which I patterned this Femme Fatalities board. That's 16 years!!! Wow! I've really enjoyed the ride too. A LOT has happened in those 16 years... a lot of on-line as well as real life friends made, such as G-Man before FF, all of the wonderful FF folk, Suzi, Kerie, Petra, Tina, Lena, Jessica and all of the other wonderful models/actresses who I've worked with over the past 9 of those 16 years, and my latest friends and associates involved in my Bluestone Superheroines world! A lot of great memories over the past 16 years. What about you? How long have you been in the community, and what have you taken away from the experience?
Blue, a mere 16 year old community member, just a boy!

Found Necrobabes via The Black Plague web site in '97, launched Cinemasphyxia two years later.
I've learned that I'm not alone, and was blown away by just how many people share my interests. I was especially floored by the efforts of a guy named Samson Alexae when I discovered his Asphyxia Movie Guide. I couldn't believe someone had actually made the effort of cataloging asphyx scenes from movies and TV shows. In fact, his site was the inspiration for Cinemasphyxia. I just took it a step further by adding video clips.

I found WAVE in 1996, but had no idea there was an online community until winter of 1997. By fall of 1997, I was producing.
Thanks,

I must admit, I don't have the dates established anywhere. I've had the fetish interests for decades, but the idea that there was a community with the same interests never occurred to me. Then I found the first Necrobabe films offered through a site called B-Movies.com. That led me to the Necrobabe site, and from there to G-Man's first board. All of that must have been in the same time frame, 1996-1998 somewhere. As Blue says, it's been an incredible ride!

I found the Necrobabes and Drop Dead Gorgeous sites in oh my, it must have been 2000, 2001? Shortly after that I found John and Hank at Club Dead (later Rue Morgue). So I am just a kid, a mere 13 or 14 years here in the online community.
I lurked for ages, buying photosets and reading stories and just reveling in the existence of our fabulous community. I finally had my "coming out" in the old Chris' Corner Forum (where I went by the name Concetta Maria), doing roleplay. I eventually became a regular at Deadskirts (before fleeing for my sanity, lol), and Nyghtfall's old Deadly-Dreams board and the old Psycho-Thrillers forum. I became a film reviewer at the Chris' Corner site where I met the wonderful Kelli. Shortly after that I also joined here and DFN. Films and books of my sexy/deadly adventures started being produced, a development that still fills me with a kind of awed pleasure to have become part of our creative scene. Two years ago we launched the FetNoir board, which has been an incredible ongoing thrill and joy.
I have made SO MANY cherished friends along the way. I truly adore you all.

Well, if I want to count W.A.V.E.,
They were the first to got me started in the commercial side of the "Death Fetish" themed video world from finding their adds in Fangoria back in the early 90's.
Also back then when going to my weekly stop by at Barnes & Noble, I also found other magazines... like Draculina, and Femme Fatales with interesting adds.
Then by summer of 96 I found a add for Dark Fantasies advertising their WEB site.
Which quickly led me to Necrobabes, Black Plague, Slaymates, and a few others.
By end of 97, I started Fatal Females Forum / Site.
Then Feb 2001 I opened Femmegore (with a web backer).
I lost my web backer at end of 2007. Then in March of 2008 I helped Blue start up his Forum for his Femme Fatalities site.
So that's it in a nut-shell.
So as for the internet goes... I guess it's been 17 / 18 years.

W.A.V.E. in the early to mid "90s, but I didn't become connected to the community until I befriended Gunsuls and KHP Paul. It was Gunsuls who gave me my first image editing program (LView Pro) which set me on the road to ruin. It got worse. It was Paul who suggested I join this den of iniquity, at which point all was lost.

Around 1993 for the online community. I'd always had the fetish then stumbled across some guys on a gaming site that sat around playing poker online and discussing this topic (remember Sierra Online?). One of the guys invited me to chat so I "joined the internet" (read: signed up for AOL) and we chatted in a private room and was able to start using this cool thing called email to send naughty pictures.
That eventually led to yahoo groups and eventually websites and forums. I'm one of those that helped the community grow back then, can't say much more than that right now but anyone that's been around that far back probably knows me.
So easily 21 to 22 years.

Since 1997 when I did a Google search for "beautiful dead women" or words to that effect and came upon the famous Vicki's original Necrobabe site. I have been "this way" since early childhood, when I saw a certain female death scene in a mainstream TV show that affected me in ways and for reasons I couldn't explain at the time.
