I'm still re-building my Video Library since upgrading Cinemasphyxia to WordPress, but thanks to someone's post on another message board I frequent, I just posted the single most creative, absolutely fantastic hanging I've seen in a mainstream production in ages. Very nice scene! The only thing missing for me was that she died with her eyes closed, I would've loved a death stare, but that's only a minor complaint. An attractive, 40-something woman with very nice barefeet being hanged in a creative way, love it!

I'd love to see PKF or Psycho Thrillers or another studio do this. Women fails, she gets offed while she's sleeping the same way(a bit longer of course) & hanged to make it look like suicide(necro sex before is optional, but she should be wearing the same thing as Ms. Best while being killed, barefoot of course).

Someone on PKF's board also suggested John remake it.
I don't see that happening, not on his dime. It would be way too expensive a production with too high a risk of bombing. I believe there are too many traditionalists in the community for a method like this to find a big enough audience just to break even. For some reason, most hanging fans equate the word "hanging" with a noose, a platform, and a bound victim. Any deviation from those elements is money down the drain.

I don't know, "string up" versions of hangings sell pretty well & I think this version could too if done good, due to the uniqueness.

It would be pretty damn cool, that's for sure.
