Can anyone offer any info about what their stuff is like? They are absolutely useless at promoting it (usually just a single fuzzy still) so I am certainly not going to risk my hard-earned finding out whether it's any good. In fact I wonder they sell anything at all, given that it's not cheap and you wouldn't know what you are buying. Maybe some of you are customers despite all that? Often the clip synopsis sounds promising, but they just don't give the slightest indication of what the actual content is like. Not a clue compared to some producers who give you a very clear idea of what to expect.

I totally agree on what your saying. A lot of his stuff is 10 to 15 years old.
I used to have a lot of his titles. (all gone years ago after a computer crash :frown: )
Some are very, very good  and yes... some are very, very bad.
Back in the old days (1997 to about 2005) he posted a lot of stills of his available titles
on the old Necrobabe network. Then one had a better idea of what you were getting.

Most of what he's posted is at least 10 years old.

So what you guys are saying is that he's not producing anything new, merely recycling old stuff? I did get a couple of this producers clips which were offered free on some other site, and they looked of very poor quality but were clearly old. If there is nothing new being made it is definitely one to avoid, then. Thanks for the info!

If I remember right, Slaymates made a number of videos called death fantasies. That meant they contained death scenes but no blood. Unlike the more recent vignettes, they usually contained only one or two actresses and one death scene.

The video quality was not always the best.

I have contacted Slaymates and I hope to make arrangements to screen and review
some of their titles next month (August).
I'll keep you all updated on it.

Update,
Scott from Slaymates was very gracious to send me a few titles to look at.
I created a Slaymates Reviews Forum.
I will be posting my first review soon.

Have to agree .... They had a mix .. Some of the content was great!! While some of it, maybe not the best. ALSO you need to pay attention to description. They seemed to be very honest with listings.
Some done as fantasy no blood stabbings and shootings. While others full blood in play.

Also will agree, they did have some VERY talented ladies, working for them at times.
Kandy and Valorie among them.

I agree they likely have a bunch of good stuff. However it is still hard to know on what your getting from usually one still. Especially when all of the other major producers are now providing at least a handful of stills and better descriptions. Sorry when they are charging around $20.00 or more on some titles I would like to get a better idea on what I'm buying.
