Heads up. This year's updates will be the last.
Four years ago, I turned the site into an archive to focus entirely on learning how to use Poser and explore my new 3D art hobby. Eight months later, I started updating it again because my creative process was proving to be glacier slow, and I missed being a more active contributor to the fetish community. In retrospect, that was a mistake. I've been struggling to maintain interest in the site ever since. There's just so much crap out there, and I don't give a damn about any of it. In stark contrast, despite the occasional headaches associated with the learning process, there's something infinitely more rewarding about creating original art, especially with a visual medium like 3D.
I've also started learning how to use Vue. As a burgeoning artist, I want to be able to create outdoor death scenes using realistic environmental effects. Vue was designed for creating photorealistic outdoor environments. I'm using their free Personal Learning Edition to get my feet wet while I save up for a copy of Vue 2014 Complete.
I'm going to continue posting updates each week, playing catch-up when I fall behind, but I'm calling it quits at the end of the year. The site and all of its content will remain online, but I'm not going to update it anymore. I'm telling you now because I'm tired of trying to convince myself I still enjoy this, and I figure six months notice is plenty of time for the news to sink in.
With that in mind, catching up on the last four weeks are clips from the following:
Drowning: The Fog (2005) - I posted my original edit of the second drowning in this movie in 2006. After re-editing that scene for this week's update, I decided to whip up a clip for the first scene as well.
Hanging: House of Bodies
Strangling: February 29th
Strangling: The Following S2E9: "Unmasked"
The following titles have been upgraded to 720 x 480 WMV:
Drowning: A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child
Drowning: The Fog (2005)
Hanging: Copycat
Suffocation: Copycat
