Buffy is misled by a prophecy into confronting The Master, to prevent his escape, only to learn that only the confrontation could allow his escape! Only by drinking the blood of a slayer, could he be freed, so instead of preventing his escape, she became the means of his escape. The tear came as she realized that not only was she going to die, but also that her arrogance would free The Master on the world!

I am eagerly anticipating the return of D'arcy to Cold Cases, and seeing those first samples from today's big shoot.

Her confrontation with the UK Strangler is one I'm especially excited about.

I’m painfully struggling to predict the character that she’s portraying
- the pertinent motive that necessitates her being taken out of play -
and the death stare she has in preparation for the police photographer.

D'Arcy has rapidly ascended to my 2nd favorite strangulation victim, second only to the "Queen of the Tight Garrote", lovely Lynda!

It's too bad that these two can't be taken out topless together in a double homicide Cold Case.

But perhaps some day Scotland Yard will be called to the scene of a different duo of cooling corpses.

We live in hope!
