I like what Kelli's done with the Fetnoir chatroom by putting the chat window on the index page, so that everyone can see if someone's in the chatroom. I've researched how to implement this with the FF chatroom. Any interest in this modification? Let me know, because there is a fair amount of work involved, but I will do it if it will encourage more people to use the chatroom.

To be honest Blue I've never used it up until now... I take it that it is an on-line gossip medium where we can all chat in real time about our ideas and fantasies?

I think it is a good idea.
I tried to implement that plug in off and on for a couple years. When I saw that Fetnoir had it, I decided to try again. What I learned was that that plug in, at least with regards to Simple Machine forums, is picky on what theme it is running on. So, I ened up going through about 5 themes one day before I got it working. Since then, it has done great. And, I added it to the other forums outside the community I run. Everyone seems to like it. I personally use it for announcements and sometimes people will ask me direct questions, which I enjoy answering.

Thanks for the great feedback, JohnM. I am running different forum software, but I had that very same problem when I tried to install the anti-spambot measures here. I went through about 5 themes too. Working on a lot of other projects right now, but I will work on it when I get a chance.
