Dear John
What if there are no reviews??
As a producer I cannot compel buyers to write reviews. It is their perogative. The only review this year has been Arthur13, which garnered no responses other than his. And that video has been a best seller. ??

It you have a video that is a best seller and no reviews, I don't see a problem. Relative to your sales goals, I assume that is did it's job. Reviews are nice, but not a necessity. I have over 800 movies, yet only 15 reviews--barely a blink. The review may help a new person trying to get an idea of who to buy from. But, for the most part, people take the plunge blindly based on actress and scenario. It's the consistency and presentation of the subject matter that keeps them buying. Not even an award like Best Producer in the Universe can change the basics in that regard.
We all do our best with what skills we have an hope for the best.

I agree with you, JohnM. I have noted 5 or 6 dedicated buyers plus the occasional 10 clips at a time buyer. There is just too much good stuff available as well as newcomers that siphon the curious buyers. None of them seem to write reviews.
Thus the awards really match those with the time and energy to write reviews and nominations. Plus the expected bias for a producer sponsored forum and site.
That still doesn't detract from the winners.
