I know there are those who want to see her as a badass villain, but to me, she's just perfect as the helpless victim. She just looks slight and delicate with a slender neck and too young to really have a chance against a bad guy. She really impressed me that way in "Lady Killer" too, once the tables were turned, she didn't have a chance! I can't think of any actress whose neck has looked so small with Mr. Green's hands around it, and against Bill in "Preempted Plans" I was delighted to see there wasn't even a pretence of fighting back. She died the instant the loop dropped around her neck, her body just took a few minutes to "get the memo" and she'd have been done even quicker, but for the phone call to tell her why she was being taken out!
Even as Stellar, she plays more like an innocent newbie heroine who wouldn't stand a chance against real villains. I'd like to see her in one of the scenarios, like Stephanie Knight in "Catwarrior 2" confronting Master Mace and having given him her best shot, right to the jaw, sees it have no effect, and she's like "Oh shit!" and he just slaps her once and the garrote is around her neck, and the next 90 secs is all dying. I love those moments when a cocky heroine suddenly realizes that she's up against someone she can't defeat!
