She should start out arrogant and cocky. As the beast begins to pummel her, she should express her surprise and bewilderment at how resistant he is to her fighting skills. As he gains the upper hand, fear should creep in, as she begins to realize that she might actually be defeated. Finally, when it's become apparent that she is going to lose, denial, bargaining, and begging should prevail. As her moment of death closes in, an "Oh god, I don't want to die! I don't want..." either in inner voice, or spoken out loud, would be delicious, with the moment of death cutting the repeat short!

As I said above, I'd love for her final words to be something like, "Oh god, I don't want to die! I don't want..." with the repeat left unfinished by her death. Late in the defeat, having her admit to herself "He's too powerful for me... he's actually going to kill me!"
Early in the fight
"This over-grown sand flea will go down, just like the rest." (Arrogantly) "I'm Wondra, I can't be defeated!"
She starts to realize that he's tougher than she thought
"This one is a demon, how is this possible?"
"He can't be more powerful than me! I must be betrayed!"
Late in the fight, she understands she's in real danger
"I don't understand, how can I be losing?"
"God's of the Amazon, help me!"
"Oh, god! He's much too strong... he's actually going to put me down!"
Death is arriving
"Please god! I'm frightened! I don't want to die! I don't want..." (she dies mid-thought)
That last plea could be in inner voice, or spoken aloud, the key part would be the admission of her fear and defeat, and the interruption of her plea by her death.
