Mmmmm... I LOVE the sound of that! She's young and vulnerable looking so to hear that her powers will be negated by the gloves and allow the collector to deliver a beating is delicious!

I thought in Stellar 1 she was introduced as just a 'costumed' beauty with no actual superpowers (like a Teen Bat)?

Am I mistaken? I don't recall it being retconned in Stellar 2 either but it has been a while since I watched it.

And she was a real "knock out" in that one... her first appearance. For those that don't remember, she made her first appearance in Darkwing 21.

Yes, and those powers appear to have stayed with her, and she's learned to control them between the early episodes and now. Unfortunately, her gained powers are also subject to the same weaknesses as those of our other Nova-powered heroines.

I've loved the times when Melody's Nova Prime went to fly and remained firmly on the ground, and when Iris's Wondra was attacked in civilian disguise and injected, then transformed only to find she was no stronger was wonderful! That moment of confusion when they realize they have no power is delightful!
